Reckon Sheeds must have had a few ales before his lunch on Sunday, Ouch, hasn't half stuck the boot into Moyes over lack of interest in kids whilst at Everton!

To be fair to sheedy, apart from rooney, I can't off the top of my head think which kids moyes gave a decent run in the 1st team.

Whats happened? Is it a video or article?

Mans a legend, he's cut him to bits. About time someone within the club confirmed what we already knew. Not interested in the youth and negative punt the ball long tactics drilled into the first team. 'We now have a manager who trys to win games' was the next tweet. I just hope he doesn't get sanctioned by Bill whose obviously still rather pally with our ex.

4.) 18 Mar 2014
Really? He never gave youth a chance just look at Coleman a few games in and out because of his 'inexperience'

5.) 18 Mar 2014
And now just look ar Forshaw.

yes in and out, and he played him right wing mostly, adam forshaw? he played 1 game and was shipped out to brentford, same with a lot of youngsters, mcaleny played twice, all in all, bar rooney, no one was given a proper go, not even stones, under martinez, barkley, stones, mcaleny will be given chances when he is fully back, browning he said is ready and oviedo have all been given a chqnce or will be soon

To be fair coleman was a signing.he never came through our ranks.bidwell, forshaw, wallace, baxter to name a few who went out on loan and moyes let them stay there for small fee's

Sheeds is quite within his right to speak out. I'm only surprised it's taken him this long to voice his opinion. Under our previous manager the kids were never given the opportunities to progress into the 1st team. Barkley being the prime example. This year Coleman and Stones (despite not coming through the ranks as purchases) have been given a chance to shine. So let's now give some of our kids a chance to gain 1st team football from the bench. McAleny and Browning need that experience between now and the end of the season. Let's not put them under undue pressure but bring them on when we've already comfortably sewn a game up. Swansea could be that opportunity at the weekend.

To dentielad there is only two more I can think of. duffy who showed a lot of promise especially in a heroic performance vs spurs but then sent out on loan and same with Barkley as he actually had a quite big run of games a few seasons ago but then showed promise so Moyes sent him to reserves to "further his progress"

For me his biggest downfall was barkley, the kids been great this season and to be booted out last season to any takers on loan when we were down to the bones in the middle of the park was a joke, instead putting on a unfit hitzstlberger who was awful, I also said zaha wuddent stand a chance with him in charge and even with there poor wingers he still wouldn't play him
