Not sure how true this is but I've just been told by my mate who is a sporting fan that both Everton and spurs have made contact over that young Scottish kid they signed the other year! Ryan gauld! From hat I saw of him in Scotland and what I've heard from my Portuguese mates he is very capable and improving all the time! Ed is there any news on this?
{Ed025's Note - we were after him last summer sconey, hes a prodigious young talent and big things are expected of him, it does not surprise me that we are showing interest..

I have heard from a couple of close mates who are big City fans and they tell me that everton are expected to sign John Guidetti after the u21 championships! I thought he was already signing for somebody? Do you know if any truth in this Ed?

Taylor and Jonas both released by Newcastle! I have heard a few whispers of RM being at front of the queue!
I suppose they would be ok as cover and a better option than McGeady but does anyone else see this happening?

Taylor has spent the best part of 2 seasons out with knee ligament injury. He was at his level with Wigan, not good enough or fit enough for us.

I like both of them as people and don't mind them as players, but wouldn't have either in a million years. Taylor WAS good about 4 years ago but spends all his time on the injury table and Jonas, as incredible as what he's achieved has been, isn't a very good player. He works hard but doesn't actually have any discernable qualities. It's a dark day when players released by Newcastle, arguably the worst team in the league in the second half of the season, are considered good signings for us.

I agree it's good news he wants to stay but if he was as good as they said last summer why no exposure this term when we needed him?
