Something to look forward to for those interested.

Latest Everton accounts are due for release early October, once signed off.

And.an actual AGM arranged for possibly early November.

Ooh, the excitement.can`t wait.

Tonight showed two things, we at the moment can't cope with teams who park the bus and play on the counter, and can we have a fair playing field where both teams can tackle the same.

Ah, dust ourselves down and move on.

What's our name!!!

Looking like another very grim close of the transfer window for us blues. Look on the bright side, at least we'll have many positive words from Martinez in the morning. You could crap on that mans car seat and he'd compliment the curl and the smell.
Is this all we have to look forward to! {Ed025's Note - lol..

So, `The king is dead. long live the king`

Moyes has gone, done some good things during his time at Everton and some things which he`ll always be remembered for, not favourably. Overall though, he`s got this club knocking on the door of the promised land of the `top four`, and with the financial constraints he`s worked under he`s done an excellent job.

Who next though?

We are Everton, a club with a long and proud history, a club with honour and pride. and what does that mean in the premier league/sky era. sod all. It`s all instant success, and if you don`t achieve it then it`s down the road fella!

I`m sure there will be many names in the frame, and we`ll all have our favourites and certain names that will make you shudder at the thought of. I just hope that the board select someone who will understand what it is to be manager of Everton ( Personally, I don`t think Moyes ever really got it, but that`s just me ) Someone who will come in, galvanise the team, play with fight and a winning attitude. Someone who isn`t afraid to drop players when they are absolute gash on the field and someone who isn`t afraid of throwing the untried youth in now and again.

Interesting times ahead, al hail the new king.

Names I personally wouldn`t mind giving a go;

Martin Jol
Terry Butcher

Whats our name!

Bluefish

1.) Martin Jol isn't a bad shout, but I don't think he'd make us do any better than DM did.
As for Terry Butcher - never in a million years.

Surely the fee would be agreed before a 'loan to buy' took place, so if he had a good season we pay the agreed price and if not, we don't buy.

As the old saying goes.

'Familiarity breeds contempt'

Alan Myers seemed a breath of.fresh air at Everton and has done some great things in his short second spell at the club.

Maybe those around or above him at the club wished they had his seemingly transparemt popularity with the supporters and maybe thought he could be a liability in the future, who knows?

One good game doth not make a legend

Consistency is all.

Good player though on his day, let's hope he doesn't have too many :)

Could he be the 'missing piece' they've been looking for?

Doubt it, but we'll see.

Maybe bringing Moyes back is not such a bad shout.

He knows the club very well after being here for 11 years and is well versed in all things Everton related.

So, when we need a new kit man or tea lady, give him a call.

Try Martinez's away record against Emery's last season. There's a comparison.

And what did he do that was so outstanding at Valencia

Yes, he's won three Euro cups but right now he's not what Everton need.

I'm probably old school, but the league comes first, I want to see the eague trophy running round Goodison, cups are nice but not the same as being the best over a season.

Thats why Emery doesn't get my vote :)
