Feel so so deflated right now. That was such a poor display against a fairly average Utd team. So many players just didn't perform, and let's be honest we could have been three down after fifteen minutes.
Team selection was poor, and selection of subs was poor. We are at home in a cup game and produced nothing.
Summed it up for me when Gomes was still on the pitch at the start of the second half. Why?
In Gordon we had pace on the bench but chose to bring on subs who offer nothing, and have offered nothing for months now.
Yes we've had three good wins in the league. But we are not going to win the league. We had a chance to win a cup and we bottled it. Not what I expected from Carlo.

Think its the fact that we know we won't win the league that makes losses like this one so hard. We had the chance to have a good go at this and didn't take it. Frustrating.

We played essentially the same team we’ve been playing for the last 3 games and played a 4th game in 11 days. Utd made 9 changes from what is clearly a much deeper squad than ours. We didn’t play well but you could see those guys were running on fumes.

Play like that Boxing Day and Sheff Utd will pick up their first win.
