To say we only paid £1- something million for Townsend and Gray both showed just what we have been missing, with pace in the Team and plenty of crosses into the box, looks like a very shrewd piece of business by Rafa.

Credit where credit’s due: that win today was down to Rafa. Switched formation and got best out of players despite missing a few starters.

I think Southampton are relegation fodder this year so I’m not thinking we will win the league but these are the games we slipped up in last season and it’s nice we came from behind to win.

He identified the problem and sorted by bringing in two crosses of the ball for peanuts, plus players in their natural positions. Important to remember this is a long term fix, we will probably lose as many as we win.

We may loose a few but not by tippy tappy 50 passes between defence and keeper before loosing it at the halfway line after a few more to me to you sideways stuff, Keane and Holgate will cost us a couple of games as well, but we looked like a team yesterday, the players looked forwards and hit the ball to our attackers and not our defenders.
