Really nervous about tonight’s game.
Clearly they win and we are 99% down.
I may be going mad but just stuck a £1k bet on Leicester to win at 13/ 2. Theory being it’ll ease the pain, not much, but a little.
And if Newcastle win it’ll still be the best £1k I ever spent.

A plea. Goodison has to rock tonight. Difficult I know but this game is a must win (yes we’re there already folks) . A result will be as much down to us as the players. No negativity, no nervous atmosphere, no negative banners et al. If you want to protest do so after 90. Please. COYB.

Sigh of course your right Ed, but the only quality players we going to attract or afford these days are either last chance salooners on special offer, or a punt on championship players that may or may not do it in the Prem. Both come with risk. Just saying, but for once the stars could align and Barkley could work - there is no doubt he has the ability - it won’t cost us the earth - and coming back to Goodison might just be the ticket.
{Ed025's Note - i gave up on Ross many moons ago S+G, very talented local lad who i championed since he was a kid, but he let himself and the club down badly due to very poor life choices mate and leopards dont change their spots, i know we are desperate...but not that desperate..

May be the odd one out on here but I’d take him all day long. We desperately need attacking quality and delivery and he has that. A risk yes. But he’s older now, and for the lad it’ll be his last chance. Win win.

So it’s Monday evening and FL still in charge. WTH.
So if their giving him West Ham game, regardless of that result they must be intending to give him arsenal and Liverpool games too.
So here goes, draw or lose “just” to West Ham, lose badly to arsenal, then get a draw with Liverpool - great performance - city esc et al - and he stays on. Repeat. Lose Leeds game and they finally get rid. No replacement lined up - give to Bainsy - too late we are already doomed and transfer window shut.
I truly give up.

After all the decisions that have gone against us this and last season we DESERVED those breaks today, and tbf we are due a barrel or two load more.
By no means we out the woods, but one step closer. Smiling evertonians in this household and all looking forward first MOTD in 5 months. COYB.

Par for the course Davey. My opinion would have been soft, I think, but bet if was at other end they’d have given it. My missus (actually a Fulham fan) has kept a spreadsheet since the Rodri handball at Man City…. and it’s frightening…the amount of incorrect decisions against our club. Vs everyone else.
She thinks conspiracy because it can’t be anything else. If there was a way of uploading the spready on here I would.
Onward and upwards spurs at home, got to be all 3 points now. Tough, but not beyond the realms.
