Unlikely to happen for a multitude of reasons. Mainly, that we may not end up signing one lad and the fact that the other lad is made out of cotton wool. Getting both of them on the pitch at the same time for Everton football club next season is no easy task as things stand

But say we did get him .

I imagine with the way Dyche likes to play, he likes to have flexible forwards that can perform different roles and formations. There is a good chance you would see Danjuma/ Mcneil on the left. Gnonto in the middle, behind and up with Dom. These are much better than options than last year, let’s face it. Garner/ Iwobi etc competing for that wide right spot.

Onana comes on this year now he understands the demands of the league that bit better. When he won the ball last year, he saw mannequins ahead of him, this year he will have some players with a bit of movement and he can either play forward or break the lines himself. He will probably go in the summer.
Gueye is a year older but hopefully him and Garner can rotate well and Doucs.

Young is far better than Mykolenko and can easily do as good a job at rb, lm, rm if we need him to. He is fit as a fiddle has played at the highest level and it shows. Big question marks on whether Patterson can stay fit and available but he did start preseason early back in Scotland with a sports performance coach.

Tark as you were.

Keane frightens the life out of me and would rather Jared, Godfrey, or Holgate play ahead of him. I think a cb signing is as important as the attacking ones. Dyche clearly likes Keane and Jared is still inexperienced. Likelihood is that we start the season with Keane and the only way Jared gets in is if Keane plays poorly, meaning that we start the season poorly.

Pickford as you were.

Id like to think given the other poor sides in the division that the above would give us enough, comfortably to stay up. Even more so, if we have a bit of luck on our side with injuries … but when does that ever happen. What am I talking about ? DCL will shatter all our hearts and the season will drift away from us piece by piece.

I've read that he's not interested and I've read that he's desperate to sign for us, nobody knows a thing, just have to wait and see gents.

Good, logical post that Bluenose. Incidentally watching Burnley v City, City 1-0, whoops make that 2-0 Haaland both. This is scary.

I dunno Guernsey, they're weaker since the summer clearout (Mahrez etc) and De Bruyne just hobbled off.

Hard back against them yes GB but think Liverpool as much as I don't want will push them all the way.

Agree gents, many contenders for 2nd but city are still streets ahead imo and can’t see anyone else winning it. KDB or not, they will be fine. Just put Foden, Alvarez, Silva, Grealish in the advanced midfield role and they are still better than most teams options. They will still buy in this window and even if they don’t, they have plenty of depth. Even young McAtee or Palmer are better than most lower club options. Rodri is the best midfielder in the world. The options they have in defence is silly. The fact that most of them can play anywhere across the back line but then also in the midfield positions just as comfortably, makes it even more silly.

They are after paqueta, who although didn’t set the world alight at West Ham, it’s West Ham, with all due respect. A lot less of the ball, a lot more defensive responsibilities to take into consideration and much worse options to interchange with and provide for. Paqueta, much like Kovacic will fit in seamlessly.

I see City winning it with Arsenal closest, which is great because it means Liverpool won’t. If they get Lavia and a cb then they have every chance of winning the league. It’s great that the margins are so small for interest in the title but City are the most talented squad in the league, across all areas for me and still by some way.
