(TEAMtalk sources have confirmed that Everton are on track to be taken over by American firm 777 Partners before the end of December) .
If tge pl let this deal go through its a absolute joke and I think they desperately want us to fail.

I’m no fan of the Premier League, but if you think they want any Prem teams to go bust, you need a rethink.

Be careful we 'know' people.

I think we need to leave the paranoia out of what is going on with the club. We have been run badly by a group of people who should not have been allowed to run us into the ground. The 10 points was harsh but we broke the rules we signed up for. I’m hoping the points get reduced to 5 so we can move on from all this and have a better chance of staying up this year. All this ‘everyone is against us’ talk is just distracting. Let’s focus on the football and hope we can get 3 more points against Burnley.

My point being br that if 777 get the go ahead then we have been allowed to be run again by a group people that should not be allowed to run a pl club that was the point of my post not paranoia.

It’s a shame that with all of the current investment in clubs and with a new stadium on the horizon, that this was the best offer we could attract.

It’s not the PL who want us to fail though shakey - it’s the incompetent people running the club who are desperate to sell and will accept anyone to sell to. The PL are just doing what they would do for any club.

How can you blame anyone but Everton football club, our owner has t got a clue and seems to me this has just been a Rich mans game that went wrong for him, He now wants out, doesn't care who own us as long as it's not him, so what do we do, as per usual, nothing, we will moan, threaten to not go to games but we will, so we all just have to wait and see what happens, can you tell. me it will be worse than it is now, I don't think so, but that's just my opinion, who knows they may want to get it sorted by dec so we have some funds to actually buy a couple players.

Ed002 please tell us 777 are not the only ones looking to take us over?

{Ed002's Note - The 777 takeover remains subject to approval from the Premier League, FA and the Financial Conduct Authority and the possibility of them stepping away - but that is not likely at the moment. They have an agreement which is exclusive and means Everton cannot negotiate with anyone else. Additionally, selling Everton to any other party would create the separate issue of the significant loans that 777 have made to the club. What 777 will want is a layer of protection from future unknown costs accrued under the existing ownership - so provision will need to be made for any negotiated costs associated with those clubs who are looking for compensation from Everton for thir relegation. It means that Moshiri will need to give some financial assurance to any new owners. Right now I am not aware of anyone willing to step in with an offer for the club but there will be some of the sharks out there looking with a consideration to buying lower, increasing revenues and flipping the club.}

We can only hope that due diligence was done initially and the people in charge believe that 777 would pass any financial checks. Signing an exclusivity agreement in any other case would be unforgivable.

Flipping the club?
