Just read a report we have sign alcaraz 4 year deal.
1.) 03 May 2025 13:21:42
That would be a good start.
2.) 03 May 2025 13:25:13
Yet yesterday I read on here DM was sending him back ? just proves until anything is DONE don’t believe anything you read or hear in the media. Especially this time of season.
I think we’ll be buzzing today. 3-0
COYB!
3.) 03 May 2025 13:51:35
I heard the reporters at that the press conference yesterday saying DCL was prolific 236 Apps 57 goals. That is not prolific that’s actually pretty poor. Journalists do make my blue blood boil.
4.) 03 May 2025 14:22:40
He’s starting today which is a good sign I suppose.
5.) 03 May 2025 15:02:34
unless its pre contract, he cannot.
6.) 03 May 2025 18:12:18
Not sure what his situation is with Brighton but i would be asking about Enciso after todays display, excellent playe.
7.) 03 May 2025 18:28:16
Read something two days ago saying the same Bluepasty but could not find anything on it. Think it’s click bait and rumour.
8.) 03 May 2025 21:18:35
Bob, I was thinking the same thing, the lad’s got bags of talent, let everyone else fight over Delap and we’ll take him.
28 Jan 2025 16:02:14
Well we are in the final few days of the transfer window and I'm not sure about anyone else but I have no clue who Everton are after, soon as you think you know, some one comes out and says no they arent, true or false I have no idea, but this Ferguson player, is he the answer I'm not sure, I mean Brighton don't have a striker banging in goals left right and centre yet he struggles to get in the side, then there the lad from rangers, that's the Scottish league half the players in that league are no better than division 1 down here, the only players I'm getting excited about are the 3 Chelsea lads, the rest I think we need better.
1.) 28 Jan 2025 16:39:22
Igamane is 22 and has great physical attributes mate. He can fashion goals out of nothing, which helps when you are playing for a team as devoid of creativeness as we are. Jelavic didn't turn out too bad for us when Moyes signed him from Rangers after all.
The lad has also played PL opposition in Europe and he is 1 goal from being top scorer in the competition - not bad when he is playing in a team that is Division 1 level. He has scored as many goals as the lad City just paid 60/ 70m for.
I would be happy with this lad coming in tbh Pasty. Young, hungry and wanting to make his name in the game.
2.) 28 Jan 2025 17:14:08
He's probably going to have a bright future but we don't need to keep loaning or signing injured players. So no not the answer.
3.) 28 Jan 2025 17:47:35
I would like Igamane but it will probably end up being Danny Ings.
4.) 28 Jan 2025 18:08:55
Can't see rangers selling igamane this window plenty others will leave before he departs his price is on the rise 25 million plus. Dessers banged a cracker against manu he's available for a lot less.
5.) 28 Jan 2025 19:40:43
Can’t see him being £25m+
They paid like £2.5m in the summer, I reckon £10-12m could get it done and he might push for a move to increase his £7k wages and to prove himself in the premier league
Maybe some sort of swap deal with Paterson if we can snap up KWP
Sorry BlueNose if I am telling recruitment how to do their job again lol
And sign Preciado for depth.
6.) 28 Jan 2025 20:02:27
Pack it in ST, I have already told you the once! Hahaha.
7.) 28 Jan 2025 20:14:32
Sadly, I’d take Danny Ings - at least he knows where the back of the net is. We are more likely to get Antonio….
8.) 28 Jan 2025 21:55:36
He also has a full gold membership for the sick bay.
08 Aug 2024 11:52:37
Juat wondered if any of the Ed's no if we are actually intrested in Gnonto, one mins says we arent, then says we are, then we have bid 23mil which has been rejected, they want 25 mill, if we do want him why are we mucking around over 2 mill, or is this just total rubbish as I just don't see how he's done anything to be worth even 15 mill or is it that he has potential, sorry question after question, I'd like him at Everton but 25 mill I'd have to ask myself is he worth it.
{Ed002's Note - Wilfried Gnonto (LW/RW) Juventus, Inter and Manchester City interest in taking him as cover has gone. Everton had offers rejected last summer and this. With Summerville gone he will likely get more game time. Wants to return to Italy with perhaps Fiorentina or Milan interested.}
1.) 08 Aug 2024 16:04:53
Real old transfer tussle that one, needs to be sorted if not move on.
2.) 08 Aug 2024 16:28:13
Should have gone for Summerville a better player in my eyes.
3.) 08 Aug 2024 19:48:01
Much better notforme. It true West Ham have paid little over £20m, that will be the best deal of the summer easily he is much better than n’diaye who we have bought and seems like similar money.
19 Jun 2024 08:13:43
Hi Ed's, just wondering as I read all the rubbish in the click abit probably like everyone else, I get sucked in with we are after this one and that one, if we sell one of our assets, so we don't get a points deduction again, will we have funds to spend, as reading the villa lad is around 10 mill which I'd like to no how we can spend that if we are skint, I no nothing of how the money works ect, so treat me like an idiot.
{Ed002's Note - The money would come from sales beyond what is required to avoid a third charge and further loans.}
1.) 19 Jun 2024 12:06:21
If the most of the current debt has been refinanced then we may be better off with operational cost plus any additional sponsorship would probably go to operational finances reducing liabilities and therefore improving our P&S. Things are looking better if you believe all the media but we are still not out of the woods.
{Ed002's Note - None of this matters in terms of what is required to be done by the end of the month.}
24 Sep 2023 09:24:26
My mate is a Southampton fan, messaged me saying he can't believe holgate is starting, first ball comes to him, takes too long on the ball, gets caught and the other team score. Was taken off at halftime. Looks like Southampton won't be buying him, so back to us again and more wasted wages.
1.) 24 Sep 2023 11:12:25
Just shows how bad our recruitment has been, but also our team selections. He’s struggling in the Championship, early days, I get that, but clearly no where near Premier League level.
2.) 24 Sep 2023 11:45:38
At one stage I remember that he was touted as the new Stones but better…
Can only hope he hasn’t long left on his contract and we can loan him out again next season. Maybe to somewhere in Europe.
3.) 24 Sep 2023 19:24:47
That lads confidence is shot. He's not as bad as everyone is making out. He needs a run of games to play himself into some form.
The championship is fast paced and physical, so he needs to adapt.
Don't get me wrong, he's long passed being an Everton player and does need to move on as do we. Issue is his contract which I don't know how long he has left.
4.) 24 Sep 2023 20:06:55
Holgate came before the Moshiri days guys.
5.) 24 Sep 2023 21:42:27
Judging by his comments when he went to Southampton I don't think his confidence is shot, more so that he has an extraordinary excess of confidence.
6.) 25 Sep 2023 09:46:48
Agree TD he was always a liability in our defence we are far better these days mate.
7.) 25 Sep 2023 23:29:48
Not always and he was initially thought well of.
8.) 26 Sep 2023 10:11:08
Wasn't he one of a couple of bright young things that included Tom Davies at one time, remember that trouncing of Man City at Goodison?
9.) 27 Sep 2023 17:25:04
It was only a few seasons ago that Holgate was playing really well for us. He was our best centre half, right back and defensive midfielder. His form went and then his confidence quickly followed. He has numerous chances to regain some form and confidence but it hasn't happened, his form now would struggle to get him on an intermediate team.
Unfortunately for us, Ben Godfrey has went pretty much the same way. Godfrey and Keane were taken right out of their comfort zones against Doncaster and struggled with their attacking players.
{Ed025's Note - if you think he has ever played really well you have a better memory than me Joe, i have always seen him as a liability mate..

What is annoying me at the moment is that all the papers seem to do is link us with every over 30 year old who's out of contract, we need fresh faces to prove a point, not players to see out there days at Everton on massive contracts, we are not a nursing home for old players,
Picking up old past it players is not a skill , picking players who are unknown is a skill, we did the old buy anyone and see how it worked out, been waiting for 4 year to get Kean of the books, don't let this happen again.
1.) 12 Jun 2025 15:03:37
30 plus are still incredibly fit and may have a point to prove. Perspective, first Marathon at 35 last triathlon at 67.
29 May 2025 19:03:39
I have just watch a YouTube clip, just over 7 mins long of Gustavo Hamer best bits of the season ' the boy can play ' I no they only show the best bits ' bit of a clue in the title 'but i think him and alcaraz would be a match made in heaven we need to sign this player ' he's the player we need not delap so much ' I think with beto we already have a delap ' we need abit more class upfront ' I think delpa will be good but I'm not convinced on 1 season, plus we already have a youngster in the waiting already chermente, excuse the spelling ' I'd try and buy Tony back off the arabs.
1.) 29 May 2025 21:09:32
Totally agree with you Patsy.
2.) 30 May 2025 07:36:56
Seen him live. he's good but not sure he's the answer especially when not in possession. Better option in my opinion is Finn Azaz at Boro who would suit our style.
3.) 30 May 2025 08:36:07
He would be competing with Alcaraz for the same position wouldn't he?
4.) 30 May 2025 08:53:59
Can't agree with the out of possession concern there Cookie mate. Hamer is diminutive but he certainly doesn't shy away from getting stuck in and shirk away from his defensive duties.
He has played as many career games as a defensive midfielder as he has central/ attacking, whilst being able to maintain the same output of goals and assists, there or there abouts.
I watched him in the PL and had heard he was a player but I was quite shocked to see that side of his game.
In his one season in the PL:
- 36 games
- 9 yellows
- 39 tackles (54% success rate)
- 15 blocks
- 29 interceptions
- 32 clearances
- 163 recoveries
- 0 errors leading to goals
Not particularly bad numbers. You'd expect him to be deployed alongside of just ahead of Idrissa, who will certainly help him out in that regard.
No brainer of a signing for me. Clever player and creates and scores goals. Would finally have somebody who can take a set-piece as well, which is massive for us, especially given some of the size of the lads in our 11.
5.) 30 May 2025 14:50:42
I hear you BN but I think the prem is faster and my fear is he will be passed around from watching him in the flesh.
08 May 2025 21:07:24
Josh brown hill is coming to the end of his contract, just read 18 goals and 6 assists from centre midfield, might be worth a punt.
1.) 08 May 2025 23:26:09
Not a fashionable target, but I think he’d be great business. 18 goals from midfield, yes please.
2.) 09 May 2025 07:51:57
Warrington lad aged 29, would do well for us I think but with Burnley having been promoted might be a struggle. He's their captain and will probably be offered a decent contract to stay.
3.) 09 May 2025 08:16:24
I think it would be better to take his goal record from the PL ahead of this season in the Championship. We all know they are completely different ball games.
111 games in the PL and 6 goals. About 1 in 18.
That being said, I would still take him as he is a solid player with the right attitude.
4.) 09 May 2025 10:47:02
He’s playing in a different team, with a different manager, higher up the pitch and doing well. Worth a punt imo.
5.) 09 May 2025 11:41:41
We can all look back at what players have done in the past, yes its championship, but as mentioned different team, oh and different manager, which we all no he doesn't no how to get a team scoring, but 18 goals 6 assists so he has it in his locker, for me why would he stay at Burnley, relegation favs and we will probs offer him a bigger pay packet, He won't get many more offers at 29.
6.) 09 May 2025 12:24:01
Aren't Burnley trying to sue us can't see much business between us and Burnley unless it's one of those nod nod wink wink deals.
7.) 09 May 2025 13:15:38
Mcneil is on £25 grand a week so Burnley can't pay big wages and he is on a free £50 grand a week would probably get him don't know what tarks is on probably abit more another Burnley freebie.
8.) 09 May 2025 17:05:27
Tarks on 100k a week. We did get him on a free so would have had to offer a decent salary.
McNeil on 77k a week. Would think we would have to offer the lad somewhere near that to get him. And seeing how Burnley don’t like us a deal would not be easy.
9.) 09 May 2025 18:24:48
Didn't realise McNeil was on that must of read it wrong and brownhill is out of contract so nothing Burnley can do BMD.
10.) 09 May 2025 21:42:56
That just means he would be free to negotiate his terms Ron. Club normally end up paying a bigger wage as there’s no transfer fee. Hence Tarks copping 100k a week.
26 Apr 2025 11:38:12
Thank God Moyes hasn't started Kean but I am suprised Harrison is still in and dwight is in the bench.
18 Apr 2025 10:21:02
It's funny now reading the predictions, few weeks ago we would all of been dreading city, sit back they have 80% possession 20 shots at goal and we wouod have 3 maybe 1 at goal, now some are saying we could win or get a draw, how times have changed and for the good, let's hope we can win this one make our SELVES safe 100% and start investing in the squad for next season, i'm going for a 2-1 win.
1.) 18 Apr 2025 11:39:12
We have a really good chance of beating them tomorrow, we have almost all our best players back so yep a win 2-0.
2.) 18 Apr 2025 17:13:18
Man city don't like a battling team. I think we could nick a 1 nil win. Man city lost same amount as us this season but we've drawn more. Both Manchester teams been quite shocking this season.
3.) 18 Apr 2025 17:42:01
I always fear when the fan base gets cocky. We could get absolutely walloped. Hopefully a long overdue win but yet again in isolation a game where a point would be amazing. Would be amazing to catch the top 10 and we'd need a win for that. Let's go loco. and predict a 2-0 with Pickford and the woodwork taking a hammering in a good way and finally score from a corner twice!
4.) 18 Apr 2025 17:58:50
We could get walloped FBS but then again they could get beaten as well, i remember the 4-0 in 2020 at Goodison mate, so 2-0 is well within our reach.
5.) 18 Apr 2025 20:27:21
For the record Bluepasty: I still believe we’ll be like a cod in the chippy, we’ll get a good battering.
6.) 19 Apr 2025 00:26:39
My bro is normally GB but unusually this time he has predicted a wupping.
7.) 19 Apr 2025 09:18:03
If we get at them we have a chance. If we sit back we are fooked.
20 Jun 2025 07:53:39
2 goalies
2 right backs
1.left back
1 central defender
2 midfielders,
2 right wingers
1 / 2 strikers
All for 70 million.
{Ed025's Note - looks like we will be shopping in Aldi Pasty mate.. :)
11 Jun 2025 12:30:23
Junk, why unearth would we want him, we have better at the club.
02 Jun 2025 16:10:03
40 million for someone in a joke league ' who in there right mind pays that sort of money 'half of them went over there because they weren't quite upto the prem or they were getting to the end of there careers ' I'd pay 15 at most but could take him a year to get back up to speed ' look at Ronaldo 40 and scoring goals like he's still the world beater he still thinks he is '
26 May 2025 13:50:10
Watched the highlights on YouTube of harmer 'hes quick as well 'he could do a job for us definitely.
26 May 2025 11:25:44
Hes not worth anywhere near 30 million' unknown not playing in the prem so how on earth anyone has quoted 30 million is a joke ' most he's worth is 10 and that's pushing it ' I no nothing about the lad and don't think he's what we need '
{Ed025's Note - hes a decent player BP...but at £30m...they can sod off..
17 Jun 2025 15:22:35
Personal he wouldn't be my first choice, but he's a name, an old name I no, but it could encourage other players to come to us instead of going elsewhere, just a thought.
13 Jun 2025 17:20:09
This better be a joke, this is about 4 players well in to there 30s we are linked to, supposed to making our squad younger and better not taking cast off on there last swan song.
12 Jun 2025 12:21:44
This is probably why it's gone this way, the super league is where all the top teams will receive major money and while the prem is being made to look like an amateur outfit the super league representatives will be rubbing there hands together, only my thought and nothing to back it up, but all seems abit strange how we went from teams buying top players to struggling to buy players with multi billionaires running the clubs, seems very unfair indeed.
02 Jun 2025 18:05:23
Pay his wages this season ' sell him with a year on his contract and get his wages back in a transfer fee' we than have him for 12 months for nothing and haven't spent on a transfer fee either ' seems a good idea.
25 May 2025 18:43:02
Now he's a player we need ' scores 'fast and skillful bit he will be a wanted man for sure.
