Ed002 please tell us 777 are not the only ones looking to take us over?

Glory Days

{Ed002's Note - The 777 takeover remains subject to approval from the Premier League, FA and the Financial Conduct Authority and the possibility of them stepping away - but that is not likely at the moment. They have an agreement which is exclusive and means Everton cannot negotiate with anyone else. Additionally, selling Everton to any other party would create the separate issue of the significant loans that 777 have made to the club. What 777 will want is a layer of protection from future unknown costs accrued under the existing ownership - so provision will need to be made for any negotiated costs associated with those clubs who are looking for compensation from Everton for thir relegation. It means that Moshiri will need to give some financial assurance to any new owners. Right now I am not aware of anyone willing to step in with an offer for the club but there will be some of the sharks out there looking with a consideration to buying lower, increasing revenues and flipping the club.}

Personally, I am with the ''plenty of reservations'' camp as far as 777 is concerned.

EFCONE, quite agree. . . It's been a good day for the sensationalists to talk about stuff that may not even happen.

Wasn't he one of a couple of bright young things that included Tom Davies at one time, remember that trouncing of Man City at Goodison?

Now I have personally calmed down, yes he was flippin stupid and out of order, here's the thing it was obviously an ad lib because SD is very much a serious hands-on manager with set plays, so I would bet that he regrets it big time.
Live and learn, hopefully.

I had some experiences in London where I lived and worked at one time, there were a lot of local based reds fans with a different perspective to the natives as it were.
Some were great guys and knew their footy, but there were others that got right up your nose so to speak .

Its a phenomenal derby relationship on Merseyside Bill I dare say unique, the City and Utd one is a whole different ball game, same with Villa and BCFC and the Old firm thing is well . . .

{Ed025's Note - i dont know about that these days GD, it certainly used to be that way mate but there is an element of toxicity nowadays..which is a shame..
