With this formation and with team squad selection we look like team in the bottom half and if this carries on that's where we will finish
Still no tempo to our game and to be honest we don't seem to have the level of fitness compared to the opposing teams
I get the impression now that he can't pick Gordon because if he does and we win than it then proves he had got it wrong and his ego will not allow this, sad for our younger players.

Got to disagree Uran. First time in a while we actually didn’t look knackered in the last 10 minutes of a game and we were actually pressing for a winner.

First half atrocious but signs of improvement second half.

Would love to see the youngsters given a chance as both sigurdsson and Gomes offer very little at the moment.

What is it with are passing, it seems to be getting worse, simple short passes either short, behind or too far in front. We will get destroyed my Chelsea, if we give away like that!

Compare to other teams we don’t have the drive or tempo
He obviously wants to play the experience older players and play safe but Allan must of given the ball away more times than a school kid would of done, the whole system that he is playing just isn’t working, why play Delph away? No pace! And again no hope on the bench, CA has been very lucky this season with Form of DCL taken his form from last year and then this team would be around the bottom half!
Richarlison doesn’t look happy one bit and is wondering in and out of the game but he has no one to help with skill and pace down the left side
No disrespect to Rodrigues but if one of our youngsters like Gordon played like him then everyone would be saying he has to do more for the team! It’s not nice to see opposing players just walk past him, not sure why he has no fight in him! It looks like at times he can’t run, he is a luxury at this moment for sure, he can show his brilliance that but is that enough for us at this moment, maybe use him as a substitute for the last 15/ 20 minutes as a game changers?
Not sure our Manger believes in Game changers on the bench more in the way of game savers on the bench!
I was baffled weeks ago with CA and I am still baffled after this Burnley draw against one bottom teams in the Premiership, we should of been able to return 3 points against them, if he keeps this way of thinking then how does he think it will get any better? Next game will be just the same, he will just bring Davies back in to replace Delph same as last week, he has a had his chances to blood our younger players against middle to low opposition but he hasn’t done it, that opportunity has now gone so with all the top team coming up then how can he change now to include them, he can’t so he will play the same system and do his usual chop and change every weekend a new formation with the experience older players playing out of their natural positions

Couldn’t agree with you more Uran. This site for a lot of us is our only escape to get things off our chests. I haven’t got a cat to kick so sometimes have to be a keyboard warrior with the distant hope that Carlo sometimes reads these threads.! Big Dunc seems to be doing his job with DCL but he must be wondering (like the rest of us) wtf is going on with imposing pace, grit and steel in the defence and midfield?
I’m hoping the manager isn’t using us as some kind of experiment to blood his son and play trial and error, us fans deserve more than that but like Skylark insinuated, something is deeply troubling within our club and we just don’t seem to improve like other teams do. Can we really blame the last few managers? Is Carlo as culpable as Martinez, Koeman, Fat Sam and Silva? We’ve had 9 managers since Moyes left in June 2013, i know ones like Joe Royle and Big Dunc were temporary custodians but can we keep blaming the Managers? We hear a lot abut these great youngsters coming through the youth development but just seem to disappear with hardly any opportunity given in the first 11 so I wonder what Rhino’s role is in feeding them into the first team squad. Are the youth scouts doing their jobs properly? I know they don’t public release stuff but it’d be interesting to read some club stats/ data/ progress reports on each player from the techie software clubs use these days and we’d be able to see where Gordon, Simms etc are compared to Soggy, Gomes et al. If Davies comes in at full back against Chelsea and we end up with a back 5 again its going to be another miserable weekend next week. Hopefully the January transfer window will bring in some seriously hard working players. I’m sick of seeing the reds fill their first team with youth and still trouncing teams. Still so many question marks but now it’s over to you Mr Brands.
