Who on Earth would want to come and manage Everton? Judge managers on results once they are here, not because they are not a big enough name or untested.
People on here saying Moshiri has put on in a mess, which he has unintentionally helped doing whilst ploughing a lot of cash into our club with the best intentions, he has been naive as an owner.
But what these fans are doing now is heaping pressure potential managers that is not helping and that in it's own right is hurting the club. People saying we are a laughing stock are right and some of the fans are not helping.
There is no quick fix to our problems, we just need to hope our next manager hits the ground running and gets us out of trouble.

Absolutely spot on mate. We are a laughing stock at the moment, and a huge factor in that is the fanbase.

How dare they demand better of the club, eh Davey? Apathy will get us relegated in the next 3 years if things don't change.

I’d argue it’s the other fans who are part of the problem. The fans who think protesting is “weird” and “embarrassing”. I’d say it’s more embarrassing shilling for a billionaire and his mates than it is wanting better for the club. Spray painting I don’t agree with, but banners, flags etc? Absolutely fine.

If people really believe all our problems are just down to the manager and the team, then you clearly haven’t been paying attention.

Swan not sure you'd ever be happy. But don't think you're alone currently.

We've had fans moan about previous owners and lack of investment - we get a billionaire owner who is willing to invest and still fans moan.

We've got fans who moan about lack of a new stadium - we've started building one yet still fans moan.

We've had fans moan about managers - they get sacked and fans still moan.

We've had fans moan about Brands recruitment - he gets sacked and fans still moan.

We've had fans moan about players getting away with being overpaid primadonnas - manager stands up to one and sells him and fans still moan.

We've had protests about Rafa - he gets sacked and still fans moan.

We've not appointed a new manager yet - we have fans moan.

We may appoint xxxx as manager - fans not happy so moan and protest.

Whilst i agree there are numerous issues within the club and the owner is to blame with nis naivity for quite a lot of it, us as fans protesting, moaning, daubing graffiti over the ground, setting banners up outside the ground, throwing coins at players, abusing potential new management appointments is embarrassing.

Seriously what does any fan think any of this will achieve?

Nothing positive will come of it.

As numerous posters have pointed out we are adding to the problem with this behaviour - we are an unattractive propsition at the moment as a club and now appear to have a toxic fan base.

Moshiri is in charge, he puts the money in, he calls the shots, we've just got to hope he gets it right with the manager this time and we stay up - as fans we need to support the new manager whomever is chosen and we need to get behind the team.

Supporting the manager whoever is chosen just proves to Moshiri that he’s always right and will keep making mistakes.

Also I wouldn’t throw graffiti and bottle throwing in with those who are putting up banners.

If we do nothing, we are ruined, if we protest, like we did with Martinez, maybe we will get change.

I’d rather do something and it not matter than not do anything and never know.

Dan, no one is moaning about our billionaire owner investing in the club. We moan about the moronic decisions he has made and still makes that has made our club go from an occasion Europa spot to being in a relegation battle. I don't get why people are bothered that he's thrown his monopoly money about. We've gone massively down hill since he came in.

Sorry Swan, but the fans putting up banners, were the same fans spray painting the stadium, and then standing in front of their vandalism last night! You can't say they're not related.

I have no problem with people making their voices heard, but we look bad - people are laughing at the situation.

Also, I don't get the Lampard thing at all - why do people want him? Surely Dunc 'til the summer and then rebuild, starting with a new technical director, is a better option for us?

Also, "Carragher is a knobhead". really? Some people need to wise up.

So now it's the fault of those who don't bitch like children when things aren't going how we want? Heard it all now, swan! Not having the same point of view as you doesn't make someone a shill. No matter how many times you say it.

BT you can't say they were all spray painting at all. Most were protesting, just because there were a couple of idiots there doesn't mean you can tar them all with the same brush. I know a lad who went and he certainly did not spray paint anything.
