I might get stick for this but of those players that are out of contract I would still give Davies a new deal. Only saying this as I think he would be on low wages and an average player these days is in excess of £15m which I'm assuming we don't have and we don't want another maupauy on our hands.

I get the thought process there Monkey but I would be looking to promote a youngster into the spot vacated by Davies
And I think Davies would benefit from playing elsewhere.

Who is going to pay said £15million if know can get for free if doesn't sign.

Also why would Davies sign when he knows his game time like his ability is limited, he may as well get a hefty signing on fee elsewhere.
