The million dollar question is why didn't we sack Lampard before the World Cup and brought in another manager who actually knows what he is doing. We could have had the Brighton manager or Emery and we would be out of trouble by now. There is loads of managers out there but we can't find them for whatever reason I don't know. Lots of us fans could see this happening I think I called for this myself in November but lots of people said give Frank time we'll we didn't have time another bad decision made, things could be so different. We just throw darts and hopefully something sticks. If it's Dyche then I hope he keeps us up but honestly guys he is a Sunday league manager and that's being generous.

I get the Dyche bit Cheshire honestly I do mate and if he becomes the manager there will be a split in the fans' opinions.
I personally have always thought highly of him, the days of the fancy Dan managers have slipped by (Carlo etc. ) we, in my most humble opinion, have always needed tough hard-nosed results getting type, after RM's term, because we cannot tippy tappy with the rich kids. Instead, we have only the resources to be mean tight and most of all, tough.
The rest will come with a better rep, a new stadium and, best of all, new owners,

More concerned with what happens next, we’ll never make sense of the last few months/ years.

I can’t see why most people think Dyche is the answer. Still the same players and will just try and play percentage football. I would rather keep Frank and get Moshiri to sell.

That’s the best bet mate, but would Frank still be here with new owners.

Singing… I’ve had mixed emotions around the same point. For me this is slightly like when we appointed Joe Royle. Now Joe is blue through and through and that certainly makes a massive difference we know (although maybe in the modern game not as much) but that aside it was known in the football world that Joe had a particular style of play (like Dyche) but the other thing that Joe had was the ability to get the best out of players and pick a team that whilst not good on quality would be motivated to give 100%.
Now I don’t know Dyche but ‘IF’ he could bring those qualities I think that is our best way for survival this year with this team.
I don’t see a style of play, players becoming better or more importantly fighting for their place or Manager.
Disappointed as I wanted FL to work but maybe it’s just not meant to be now ??‍♂️.

I cannot envisage FL doing any better with a new owner, and a new owner would demand a damn sight more than he is bringing to the table at the moment, plus new owners would be eyeing a new man for the dugout one that ticked their boxes and suited their criteria Lampard has done nothing in his managerial career to say he is that man.
If he has, I would love to know what that is.

I really don't think the club can afford to sell him.

Am past all the blame on the mangers shouts. From what am
Witnessing is a bunch of players who haven't got a clue how to play football. They are petrified to go forward an be a bit creative. Constantly going backwards in attacking positions its poor. Players need to take 90 % of the blame an 10% can go on lampard his job is to motivate them players an they don't seem motivated. The board has run the club into the ground an lampard has got a squad of players who don't care for the badge. And struggling for funds to replace the deadwood that's inplace.

{Ed025's Note - but its up to the manager to set the tactics callum..

Completely get this opinion that Frank isn't good enough / sack him / don't sack him etc etc but the earlier post about sacking him before the world cup and thinking emery could have got us up the table is at best clutching at straws, there is absolutely no certainty that this bunch of amateur footballers could collectively get us up the table. I find it hard to agree that on paper this team is too good to go down utter ballocks. this squad of players is similar in quality to last season (which has been diminishing season in season out over the last 6 seasons / a frakenstein mob of a creation from several different managers with different ideas) . The biggest most inept spineless losers I've ever seen. Ok they lack a lot of talent but above all they lack care understanding of what it means to play for everton and any effort or passion. No bottle whatsoever. The team of 94 had f all talent but an abundance of effort and care, that I'm afraid is the difference.
