Reading the comments referring to the chairman's letter divide's fan's opinion's some saying it's a smoke screen BS deflecting their fault in anything, only a complete idiot would think they are faultless they do the hiring and firing of everyone at the club so they accountable for the mess the clubs in, for one I read it that's he's admitting to past mistakes with the on going review into how the clubs run and fan involvement at board level, hopefully in the near future we has fans will be united and the division between fans ends and the happy days return to the club, I don't think either opinion is wrong or right just a difference of opinion and everyone's end goal is a unity amongst fans and a successful club COYB.

I for one will wait and see what he does next before I make an opinion.
It's good that he at least understood the mood enough to realise we couldn't stay silent. It's good that he has quashed any rumours of a fire sale by wiping out some debt, although I suspect he needed to help the balance sheet either way.

Now he needs to show us he has a much clearer vision for the future and then execute it perfectly in order to make up for the disaster so far.

I look on Moshiri's letter as being a good sign. He does not often communicate and I don't see him attending many games. He is probably a busy man and has not put much of his own time into Everton, relying on "advisers" and Kenwright to help him make decisions. I think that he is at last beginning to realize that this project is going belly up and that he better start getting some decisions right. He must be a smart man so we can only hope that he will start paying more attention to this part of his business empire and stop relying too much on "advisers".

Some good bits. But it also had Bills PR team all over it. This is a man who we have been told has no influence yet this letter makes it plain nothing could be further from the truth.

If that letter was not the pr team and denise Baxendale, I will eat my hat, too much of it mentioning the board, granted Moshiri will have mentioned his stake and other things, but looks like more has been added to put the board in a shining light.

I lost my sense of smell 50 years ago, but even I have smelt a faint whiff of something and it’s not roses.

Now makes it even harder for the normal share holders to call a meeting, a good Day for investment, but a bad one that will now make the board untouchable.

Further commitment put in to the club and some “fans” still not happy. Unfortunately Moshiri will never be able to win in some eyes!

Hi swan he will fit in just fine complete clown doing a interview on sky during the process of selecting a manager if it was a pr stunt to endear himself to the fans I think it’s probably massively backfired, embarrassing is putting it politely tbh we are definitely a club that keeps giving when will the madness stop.

Just trying to find some positive’s in what the chairman wrote there’s so much negativity around the club, let’s hope current events give the fans something to cheer about tomorrow afternoon and lift some of the doom and gloom that’s hanging around COYB.

Steve100

{Ed025's Note - i think if we get a positive result tomorrow steve it will go a long way to healing the situation mate..

Bw2412 a review of how the clubs run and getting a fans advisory board involved is clearly saying he’s made mistakes in the past, shouldn’t both be seen as positive changes that the club clearly need going forward hopefully he starts listening to the right people and makes the correct calls to take the club forward and progress in the right direction.

Think it clearly shows he knows he’s made mistakes in the past and trying to get a closer relationship with the fans, hopefully in the coming weeks and months it evaporates the toxicity that’s been lingering around the club for way to long now, onward and upward hopefully. COYB.

Thing is JB would you say the 500 million spent was money well spent imagine where we would be if that investment was spent correctly weather he’s had bad advice or not he’s sanctioned the purchase’s, can’t fault him on the new stadium and generating more revenue commercial but the running of the club has been nothing short of a shambles tbh.
