Being reported this morning that terms are agreed with Small at Southampton.

If he'd had said he wanted to play in the championship, am sure we could have fixed him up, without having to go to Southampton to do it.
Real talent, but such a poor attitude, been at the club from 11 years old, should have had a word with Francis Jeffers about the grass being greener on the other side of the France.

If he gets first team football at the Saints good luck to him.

Was not looking likely he’d get it with us with digne and nkonkou ahead of him.

Appears to be a talented individual and a shame he didn’t stay with us but at least we’ll get some compensation for him.

Agree Dan, at least he didn't go running off to one of the top teams and sit on their bench. To be fair to the lad I think he sees Southampton as a stepping stone to better things.
We shall see.

Would any of the Eds know how much we are likely to receive in a tribunal for Small, cheers.

{Ed002's Note - It should not go to tribunal as it is in the best interest of both clubs to agree compensation between them. If it does it will be a structured fee with additional payments if he plays for the first team, gets an internation call up etc.. Pehaps somewhere between £1M and £2 in total.}

Where would Small fit in at Everton, does not get a look-in with Digne there, then you have Nkounkou as back up for Digne, for me Small is third choice left back.

Shame to lose him, but at the same time, for me unless either Digne or Nkounkou is sold, the lad has zero chance, in front of those two.
