Hoping these rumours about Che Adams are just that and not something we’re really pursuing.

If we are genuinely in for him to me it looks like we haven’t learnt any lessons.

Whilst he’s a premier league player he’s got a poor return for goals scored and also plays for one of our relegation rivals so they’re not going to sell him to us cheaply.

Hoping it is just a rumour as surely there’s better options out there.

I’d rather take a punt on a player with a good goal scoring record in the championship than a poor goal scoring record in the EPL albeit with premier league experience. Che Adam’s has proved he’s not that great at this level, Gyokeres for example may just be able to step up a level.

{Ed025's Note - you just never know gibbo, some players just fit teams and i trust the new manager to get us what we need to try and get us safe, yes it may be short term but for now we have to suck it up mate..

Not my cup of tea but who knows? Ed025 is right, some people just fit. for example Mo Salah, Chelsea, not so great but at Liverpool. just fitted perfectly!

Agreed. He ticks all the boxes, but will he come here? Surely other clubs have an interest and Everton look a mess at the moment. Both on and off the pitch.
Fingers crossed though, I could see him doing very well in an Everton shirt.

I guess a lot comes down to who we can persuade while in our current predicament well…. Repeated predicament with the continual turnover of management
If Dyche adopts his 442 that could suit Maupay more, yes I am trying to be positive about it
But we would need another striker Adams doesn’t excite me but I am not recruiting so will put faith in the new manager
Ndiaye would be good but don’t think Sheffield Utd will sell
Gyokeres looks a great player
And that Mousa Dembele would suit in a two up top
Let’s see what can be done as the clock ticks down.

Trouble is if everyone continues to write that Everton are in a right mess then we are digging our own grave and yes nobody will come here, it’s bad enough every man and his dog slagging us off in the papers, social media and on TV. So let’s talk positive about club please.

As much as I want to be positive you can’t honestly sit there and feel the club is in a good place

Whoever pulls on the shirt will get my support if they put in a shift
I know you say everyone is down on the club and you are right but it’s where we find ourselves
If we stay up or get relegated the club needs to have a look at its workings. It will take some time but needs to be done as I feel most would agree we have had enough pain and embarrassment to contend with

One thing that is a HUGE positive is our fans a passionate, you give it your and we will adore you in the blue of Everton well not always blue of course if we are in the away kit.
