The issue should be that the deal is done with EFC then Villa step in and the players interest changes to them. Now villa don’t want him due to a 5 to 7 week injury so he decides now that EFC is for him.
I say we tell him to do one and suffer it out in the Championship with nasty Leeds.

He is out for around 3 weeks with a hip injury not 5 to 7. The question is does he improve us, does he create goals and does he score goals. The answer is yes.

The reality is Villa are a far more attractive proposition than we are but we don’t know what is true and what’s not. It would be very naive of Villa not to know the lad was injured before apparently trying to turn his head. After all the championship has been playing a couple of weeks now.

Villa were aware of jack’s injury before they supposedly showed an interest.
My feelings are they would have liked him but Mings bad knee injury forced a rethink in terms of where their recruitment priority needs to be.
Jack Harrison is a great signing, albeit we will have to wait until September/ October to see him really impact on team performance.
The deal is a loan with an option for Everton to turn it into a signing if they wish.
