So we have agreed to be sold. Time will tell if its to the devil or lucky 7s. My view is very wary but Moshiri for all his good intentions is incompetent and was behind 75% of our problems due to his naivety. Sad Bill retains his shares although I think he was not as culpritable as others believe (we were well run until Moshiri) .

I think this is a disaster personally.

It doesn’t feel right or sit right for me not sure why though!

Will Moshiri get a testimonial, don't think he'll be back as a paying customer anytime soon.

Wether we want 777 as our new owners or not is irrelevant really. What we need to do as supporters is give them time to attempt to correct all the wrongs. It's about time we try and drop all the toxic/ negativity which is playing a part in our demise.

We’re screwed. These guys are going to make Hicks and Gillett look professional. Already fans at their European clubs are protesting at a lack of funds outside stadiums, and they’re getting done in the States over some dodgy deals involving planes. Moshiri has knowingly dropped the club right in it and walked away.

Testimonial? Like a google review? ?.

And will Bill offer to guide 777, and will they take him up on it? Mixed feelings, but maybe 777 might see this opportunity to revamp their business portfolio, see the potential of our club and, how it could enhance their market value by having a successful club as a flagship. Maybe I dream too.

They already have Seville multiple Europa cup winners, though I don't think they have overly invested in them.
I think they will get the stadium built and hope we stay in the premiership and if by any chance our value goes up by @ 30% I think they will look to sell.

Or worse, dump the club and rent the stadium back to us.

My fear is what happened to Coventry, who will actually own Bramley Moore when they look to sell in 2-3 years.

Wasn’t there some legislation bought in to stop things like what happened at Coventry and selling off stadiums to rent them back?

Why is it a disaster? They are an investment consortium. The transfer of ownership has many hurdles. Personnally I hope BK legs it as well but until that time the Club is in the hands of the existing setup they it is that have to try for on the field success.

{Ed025's Note - it could be a disaster DFS, thats if they even pass the test for fit and proper owners with the premier league and the FA, i dont want to be a party pooper mate but 777 have not got the greatest reputation, owning multiple clubs like they do a few of them will suffer because these are money based investments, yes the ground will be built but we will never own it and will always be at the mercy of our paymasters,
Now im not saying its easy to get new owners as the days of single ownership for big clubs is probably a thing of the past, but i just hope that we employ due dillegence in these negotiations and dont just sell for the sake of it even if the up side would be to get rid of Laurel and Hardy who run the show at the minute..
