Can't believe we are going in for Sanchez the guy was a liability at Spurs, and I don't believe he is any better than Keane.
Hopefully this is just a tactic to make other clubs think we have other options should they try pushing prices up for their players.

Harlex

{Ed002's Note - Davinson Sanchez (CB) Galatasaray are looking for €25M for Sanchez with interest from Napoli, Everon and West Ham. He would be a Branthwaite or Zouma replacement for the English sides although I expect interest of Napoli went with the addition of Rafa Marin. Prior interest of Fulham likely left with the asking price.}

1.) 12 Jul 2024 10:34:04
Do we never learn ? he is as injury prone as DCL. £25 Million euros would sooner keep holgate so that tells you what i think of the bloke.

2.) 12 Jul 2024 14:09:16
He's basically Michael Keane . Too many errors and a red card waiting to happen on top of that. No for me, but we may not have a lot of options.

{Ed025's Note - i think hes awful as well EFCONE..

A another day another story.
Apparently an American chap by the name of Kevin Malone is flying in to take a look at us?
Used to run LA Dodgers, and has a consortium ready to step in.

Harlex

1.) 05 May 2024 11:54:28
Wycombe bagged themselves a billionaire today. His statement read well, all seemed very straight forward. Why is everything we do such a s**tshow?

2.) 05 May 2024 12:21:01
The same Kevin Malone from The Office?

3.) 05 May 2024 12:56:29
Haha googled and it says under bio that he's a fictional character (wrong one) . We have had enough of them over the years!

4.) 05 May 2024 15:10:13
I don't think he owned the dodgers he was only general manager.
I can't find his net worth anywhere wonder what he's worth.

Anyone else looking to buy shares when they come on the market?

Harlex

1.) 13 Jul 2024 11:26:22
£3000 plus for a share would raise over £400 million.

2.) 13 Jul 2024 11:39:34
Wonder if they will offer us Philogene as part of the deal.

They could activate their buy back clause on him get for reported £13million as got 30% sell on fee apparently (bizarre if buying back) . But then could sell to us for more than the reported £18 milion we were repored to have bid. He clever by them if did.

3.) 13 Jul 2024 12:11:16
That’s a good one Mocker mate would be happy with that.

15 May 2024 10:01:28
If Deli, Gomes, Keane Danjums and Onana all leave that's an around 500k a week off the wage bill. 500k for players who hardly played.
Or look at it another way, that's 26m a season.

Harlex

1.) 15 May 2024 12:54:09
Embarrassingly, it's probably even more than that, Harlex.
Keane may end up staying - can't see who'd pay his wages.

2.) 15 May 2024 18:42:33
I think Keane will leave unless Dyche has told him that Branthwaite could be going, so to hang around . I doubt it though. He hasn't played much and I'd think he would take slight pay decrease for 1st team football somewhere.

3.) 16 May 2024 06:08:37
They need replacing and at what cost?

Doesn't help the figures for 23/ 24 which end 30th June this year.

4.) 16 May 2024 19:14:21
It does if we sell before then.

5.) 17 May 2024 01:28:56
DFS

What profit would we make? Most of them are loans/ end of contract.

06 Apr 2024 10:59:07
If Dyche goes with the same starting eleven as Newcastle then we are doomed.
Have to start playing with two strikers at home, put teams under pressure and don't allow them time on the ball.
Onana, Gomes, Gana and Gardner midfield. Drop our two wide men far to slow. Keep the ball on the floor and play through the channels.
Back for picks itself.
Or change nothing and keep punting it long to the loan striker.

Well there’s your answer. Prepare to have a sore neck.

I'm trying to think of something that hasn't already been said but I can't. Over the last sixty years this football club has meant everything to me.
Being with my mates doing our "four pub" walk to the ground, the banter before and after games. The excitement on cold mornings at the station going to away games. It's all gone now, it's just a memory.
Many of my mates have now gone, going to matches now is a rare treat, and no longer a duty. Yes a duty, because we were part of the fabric of the club. We had to be there, it was our religion.
I will always support the club, but feel no connection to the owner, manager or players anymore. I am struggling to keep my faith at a time when Everton probably needs it most.

Harlex

{Ed025's Note - do you know what Harlex im a passenger on that ship as well mate, this is not what i signed up for...this is not my club!, i used to argue with my red supporting mates over who was the better club but now i have nothing in my locker, i have fell out of love for the club and the game in general and talking to my fellow blues they feel the same, i said the other day that i dont care if we win or lose now or even if we stay up or not ...thats how bad its got, things may change in the future but as for now i really cant be bothered which is sad..

1.) 31 Mar 2024 10:24:35
Not only do I agree with all that but I've actually found myself hoping the inevitable defeat is maximised with a further goal for the opposition. Once we threw that game they had a few more breaks and I've got to such a low point that in a sick way I'm verbally begging the TV screen that they score another to fully compound the dire situation. The only luck we have is this has happened at a time when the bottom 3 barely make 30 points. There was a 40 point line and sometimes even 42 points were needed. Luckily we are in a time when that's not the case. luck however as with all luck will run out.

2.) 31 Mar 2024 16:55:09
All you guys have put into words exactly how I feel.

20 Mar 2024 08:19:13
Just read that the seats in the new ground situated behind the players dug out are going to cost 50k a season for two. And there's a waiting list. Wow.

Harlex

1.) 20 Mar 2024 09:37:44
My gut feeling when reading that was how disgusting it is to price out the average fan but in reality these kinds of seats are the reason we needed a new stadium, the corporate aspect is vital to increase revenue and secure the clubs future.

2.) 20 Mar 2024 12:51:39
I think for that price you also get the chance to shout abuse at them lol.

3.) 20 Mar 2024 21:57:24
We need the money but that is steep.

Any idea what average match day cost will be?

They have been paid off. As for Everton being run by Evertonians haven’t we been there before?

We would still have to pay them the 10m if he plays so many games. That’s what the club are trying to negotiate on.

Before last season I had never heard of the guy. Isn’t he 28 now?
Need to be careful here, got to base a players on more than just one good season. I mean what’s his record over the last five years been? Not that good. Certainly nowhere near DCL level.

Look if someone offered you more money and a signing on fee to join a better company then you would go. It’s not about loyalty anymore. It’s about getting the most you can out of a very short career. Now whether you like it or not that’s just the way it is.
So while they wear the shirt you support them. Once they move on you support the next one to wear the shirt.

Never heard of Mineh before, surely if he was that good Newcastle wouldn’t be letting him go?
