Traore loan sorted. Barry will be done this week also. And 2 more to sign soon. Top players.

blueboy1878

1.) Top players who?
Messi and Ronaldo?

2.) Claus Thomsen and Marc Hottiger

3.) Good things come to those who wait.

4.) If this turns out to be true I owe you a pint lad

5.) Thomsen and Hottiger are now well retired. He's having a laugh and winding you up. the Rodney

So brenda has been given a new contract. i'm told it had a clause to say that Liverpool also employed a defensive coach. Brenda has agreed to this and says as well as a coach he will be signing 3 buses.

Something tells me lukaku may be with us next season. He is getting a lot of publicity still on the official site and over the everton facebook pages. He is 21 today
Would not surprise me if we have put a bid in already or another loan offer especially as Chelsea have just signed Costa.

blueboy1878

1.) Despite Lukaku's obvious enjoyment of his time at Everton and his clear appreciation of the support from the fans and his self-professed development as a player under RM, I suspect that his desire for Champions League football and the money needed to secure his permanent signing make him beyond (but tantalisingly close to) our reach :-(

2.) Might happen, Mourinho quoted as saying he can't be bothered with developing young players as it takes too much of his time and effort. He prefers to let other people do the donkey work then pay handsomely for the finnished article in his mid to late 20s. So Lukaku may have to wait a while if he stays there.

We could pay the 20mill but he could get double the wages offered by us at a bigger club. A Champions League club will get him . possibly on loan again . PSG as a back up for Ibrahimovic (especially if Cavani leaves)

4.) Chelsea have apparently offered him to Athletico as part of the Costa deal. They will have Champions League next year so that could be the sweetener

5.) 14 May 2014 15:38:58
Its difficult to see Rom staying. We're already looking at replacements.

I love him - he's a great player and really helped us push for a top 4 finish this season. But being realistic - the only way I would feel comfortable buying him is if Bill is willing to give us £30M to spend this transfer, which is not going to happen.

We cannot neglect the fact that Europa will stretch us thin and we will need better CB depth and more capable midfielders.

In my honest opinion which again is based on realistic circumstances - I think we should proceed with buying young players and exploiting the loan market for those expensive guys that can help us compete. I'll post my wishlist in an individual thread later.

6.) I don't think he's as good as he thinks - he does some things well - like powering past people and taking his opportunities inside the box - but his awareness and distribution to others around and outside the box can be quite poor - so this is the reason he won't get to be first choice at a champs league team
We should not pay over the odds for him - there's plenty more fish in the sea (and Chelsea know it)

. Liverpool's announcement of their stadium plans has meant more scousers can attend the game. However the good news was quickly quashed when they realised it only applies to their derby games.

Watch now as the villa fans will get lots of love from our neighbours for the next few days. Then if city beat them they will turn back in the most bitter fans in the league.

blueboy1878

1.) Too right Blueboy that brown nosing/cosying up to us stopped as soon as the game finished last night. Villa fans can expect the same as we did. Patronising bar stewards all of them and they call us bitter.

On this site and others our fans are saying the club is publicising the new stadium plans to get more season ticket sales. Even a few thousand more sales won't pay our top earners wages. Simple fact is the agm was a good time to bring it up and it seems to be fairly advanced. 50000 does not seem a big increase in capacity but i'm sure there will be scope to increase if required.

Im already looking forward to next season but would rather us be playing champions league than Europa on a Thursday.

As for all these rumours about our players. Its laughable so take them with a pinch of salt.

So for next season I personally think our 2 main targets need to be Gareth Barry and Lukaku. If we don't get Lukaku then I think he will stay with Chelsea and not move to another club.

If he went back to chelsea I am confident that Bobby will have someone lined up.

I would like us to go for Wilfred Bony as well. He has got a skill, scores goals and great ability to bring others into play.

We also need another defender who can cover at full back / centre half.

And maybe another young midfielder in the squad too.

A lot will depend on which competitions where in and how much to spend. can't wait.

48 hours since I looked at other forums and here. i'm over it. Got me thinking. Could the result on Tuesday be what we need to inspire us for the rest of the season. don't get me wrong it should never happen but we need to stick together and get back to some consistency. It won't be easy with our injury list but a couple of new signing and a good cup run and it won't be a bad season besides the one blip.

We did look little jaded but pitch did not help at west brom. Robby has said no more signings but I would not rule out last minute move. We do need a defensive midfielder as back up

Roy Hodgson said the other week that statistics don't mean anything. Well Ross Barkley had a 91% pass completion rate and had the most touches of any forward player. What was that Roy. He gave the ball away too much?. What a complete nuub.

We need 2 strikers. One big signing and maybe a loan or free transfer. A winger to replace del boy, a defensive midfielder an attacking midfielder and a right back.

Use fans don't set ourselves unrealistic targets to be then ridiculed afterwards. Unlike a team who celebrated the league 4 weeks ago. Still, you reds have given us such laughter the past 2 weeks. You call us bitter yet your the most bitter fans in the league. keep giving us the material and well done on finishing above us this season. and the trophy count this season is Moyes 1 Gerrard 0

Last year Manchester United won the league with 60m prize money. This year the team finishing bottom will get 62m. The winner will get 100m. We will be getting 88m.
