Frank isn’t going anywhere unless he decides to walk.

Think Moshiris statement the other day clearly highlights that - about time we got behind a manager and give them time to sort the team/ squad out.

We’ve sacked way too many managers and then having to start over again. There is no magic wand to fix this mess from the last 8yrs or so it will take time, chopping and changing manager is not the answer it just exacerbates the problem

Its frustrating as it is at the moment as fans - however we’re not relegated and we have time and games to start turning this around.

Think we've got to get behind frank and hope things improve.

Agree Dan - we have to stop this endless cycle of managers. Stick with someone and give him the time to sort a very significant mess out. In the meantime we have to get behind him, we all saw the difference that made last season.

I'm desperate for it to work with Frank and I want him to get it right but if we lose or draw on Sat then I'm not sure he can keep his job. 3 wins all season and that will be 1 win in 13 so I think his time will be up and I'm hoping he goes with a 352 and ditches his 433 which gives him his best chance of getting 3 points UTFT.

No one wanted to stick with Rafa and franks record is worse. He has also bright in a few players so not sure why people think we should stick with him, especially when we keep getting beat by the all the teams around us.

The reason being Richris1982 is because the sign of madness is doing the same thing over and over and expecting something different to happen the fact is we need to give Lampard a chance as for Rafa he shouldn't of lasted as long as he did with every post match interview spewing out the same thing Lewin will be back soon it will be fine the guy was a walking disaster.

So Rlc what do you suggest we do?
Sack another manager?
Spend more money on paying compensation.

Appoint another manager that will be left with a mish mash of players he doesn’t want?

Also who would come?

The club is in a terrible state and we all knew this a long time ago.

We need to stick with a manager and see if they can fix it.

The results aren’t great and neither is our position in the league - however as previously mentioned we’re not relegated and there’s still time to improve.

Frank needs to buck up his ideas regards selection, however players also need to step up.

Of all the recent managers frank seems to be the only one who is passionate about the club and seems to actually care - didn’t think I’d be saying this but I think he should be given more time.

{Ed025's Note - i think saturday could seal his fate one way or the other dan..

I wanted to stick with Rafa. At some point somebody needs time. We've had lots of managers, some very high profile, and continue to go backwards.

We do need to make a change, that change is to stick with the manager and find ways to back him

I was reading that last season we were hit the worse by player injuries, and this season is the same, we don’t have the depth to cover the voids

We also have a problem that we play to DCL’s strengths those are totally different to a Maupay player
We also need creativity from midfield and wide players to scare the opposition
We don’t have that

But despite all the doom and gloom I read we have the 8th best defence!

Lamps…… the sign of Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
For some people they are applying those words to Lampard himself I. e. keep backing him game after game after game and expecting and expecting different results. ?.

Yes the Baines rumour was in print yesterday. It's obviously a meddling click bait fan opinion piece and not a serious option.
And yes we do read over and over the definition of insanity, it's been posted 100 times on these pages the last 5 years.
FM has finally grown a pair and today admitted he's pulled the trigger on previous managers due to fan pressure

Hello Mr Moshiri, you're clearly a member of this forum (my money is on Skylark) and you've read and acted in the past on the general consensus percolating on these pages. More fool you for seeking advice here. I did think (and have posted several times) that you pull the trigger on our say so. Glad to see you've finally realised we have no idea and it's about time you listened to the fans of every other football club in the world and stick by someone, anyone for a reasonable period of time. That will stop a lot of giggling at our expense. Now get some more of our hopelessly under developed kids out on loan and ditch some more of the free loaders and sign us 3 quality players who make and score goals. Who knows, we may even have a chance of catching up to the top half of the league considering how many games are left. And then I suggest you back FL again in the summer with a healthy kitty and maybe this time next year, you can evaluate where we are and if things seem to be going a little more to plan. All this grown up and mature open letters and responses are very alien but finally very much welcome. Well done.

Everything is the fans fault now is it. Nice to see how our Club is run at last. 600 mill spent on the strength of Fan opinion. I am going to Mr Moshri and BK's happy place for the rest of the season.

Leighton Baines! If its true, who on the board has suggested that. Might as well give up now. I would rather Big Sam back in than try out any more inexperienced stand ins.

{Ed025's Note - I can’t see that really nick..

Backing the manager is the correct thing to do but only if he's the right manager. I've always thought we need a really good coach rather than a manager. Howe is showing us how a good coach can improve a poor team and what are deemed poor players.
If you want our players to be able to pass the ball and move then they need to know instinctively where our players are going to be. That is done on the training pitch by good coaches.

{Ed025's Note - spot on smit..

Spot on smit. How has took a struggling team and added a few players. Not all have been spectacular players either. Its about getting them to play as a team. Unfortunately our players can't play as a team or individually. We need a Howe type coach. Can Lampard do it? It's not looking likely unfortunately.

My issue is with people wanting to keep Lampard. There hasn’t been any improvement or even signs of improvement. We have had good managers in the past that needed time such as koeman and silva (look what he is doing now at Fulham) and we hounded them out.

As said earlier, I agree with sticking by the manager as long as he is the right man. Frank isn’t. He is a nice guy but hasn’t improved any team he has managed. When we get relegated will you all want him to stay then? At the minute there isn’t one team worse than us in the league let alone 3.

No one wants the managerial revolving door scenario I know I don't however the cliché of ''it's about results'' springs to mind, griping about a manager that loses a couple of matches is downright stupid, wanting a manager sacked before Feb. smacks of panic.

The view I have is this. . . Frank Lampard has done nothing IMO to prove to me to say he deserves to take us into the championship his record here is not just poor it's bloody awful, so whether he pulls his socks up and gets this lack lustre squad looking like they want to fight for Premier League status in the next 2 games then I don't care whether he jumps or gets pushed as long as he goes.

{Ed014's Note - Lampard really is a terrible manager, just listening to him makes me cringe.

Be amazed if he gets another job after he’s rightly hoofed out of this one.

Ed014 I am on that same page mate.

{Ed014's Note - im not obviously an Evertonian but genuinely felt disappointed for you guys when the club employed him.

He’s just not got what it takes and is totally out of his depth.
