There are a lot of two faced blues on here Ed who only a few weeks ago where saying they didn't want him, and now they are saying they are fine with him coming . at least I just say what I think and don't try to please everyone who has blue tinted glasses on. like I said I will willingly come back on and apologize if I'm wrong unlike some, but would still like to know what you mean when you say most are not like me?

Skylark we could have a top manager and still struggle. Sometimes taking a chance, like we did with Moyes, pays dividends. Out of the candidates available I think Lampard is the best choice. Cooper from Forest would of been a good candidate but not to be. Let's get behind the new manager. We need everyone in the Everton Football Club corner to see this season out. Its going to be tough when fighting for survival but I've faith that our group of players can get us out of it. You don't become bad players overnight. Benitez killed this squad, morale and belief. Let's start afresh with an up and coming manager and see at end of season where we are at.

A strong opinion should have its basis in fact. Lampard did well at Derby, and some would say, well at Chelsea. Players like him, the press like him, he doesn’t do mad sky sports telephone interviews, he’s never managed Liverpool, he doesn’t like Klopp.
He’s sounding better all the time! Let’s give him a fair crack before we write him off Skylark. And I don’t mean 2 games!

Honestly we should be glad 2 managers are interested in us, not the most stable club with an unstable owner, most here want a guy to build us take us forward, given chance Lampard may offer us that, I don't know, let's not write a guy off before he's had chance, this is not our way as fans some of it has been disgraceful we need to stop this rotten element and support the club, no matter how badly we think its run.

Hopefully he will sort this team out bring some youth through and have new ideas. We will go through a bad patch but new to stick by him. We can only look forward with him now no excuses now he’s a young manager little experience but knows the game well and the new structure should

I don't know who I prefer what tactics what former affiliations what style of management however what I do know Skylark is. . . I want results and bloody quickly and as flippant as this may sound, even if our dear Ed666 took the helm and delivered those results I for one would keep my mouth closed and fingers from typing unless I was jumping the gun, which may or may not be the case however I reject your post with a determined venom at this time.

Skylark, the problem I have is you have moaned about every manager we have appointed and usually a lot of the players.

Surely, we should ALL be behind this appointment and support the manager and any players he brings in.

I keep blowing on about giving managers time. This is the one we should give 2/ 3 years to, to build the club and teamaround. He is bringing younger coaches from Chelsea, apparently and maybe Steve Holland from England as assistant.

I would be very happy if we could bring cahill in as DOF and let the 2 of them crack on.

A. It should not be a problem when someones opinion differs.
