Whatever happened to signing Beto? Out of all of them - he looks the most Dycheable - a battering ram of a player. I thought we'd definitely get him this summer.
{Ed002's Note - Beto (S) Only joined Udinese in July 2022. Unless a significantt offer were made Udinese would not look to sell. Everton had an interest as did Napoli but neither look realistic options now with Inter, Spurs and Juventus declaring an interest. I think us being linked with che Adam's is a no go as I can't belive we would pay 10/ 15 million as quoted and he only scored like 5 or 6 goals last season, yet inechebe or how ever you spell it from Leicester and he's score double that and quoted at the same price, I no it's been said he had maddison, barnes ect all supplying him, but he's shown he can put the ball in the back of the net, 10 goals would be very welcome this season, plus he's got a lot more in his bag than che Adam's, so makes no sence, your spending that sort of money go for dia and throw maupay in with it, get a decent striker and get rod of some of the players who are no longer in the managers plans, knowing us we will end up with Chris woods.

I rated him when he was at city but could never get a regular game at Leicester because of how prolific vardy was then they got that daka. Would you guy's give cannon a place on the bench or loan him out ???.

. we know which players have to go - gomes, gbamin, holgate, maupay but if there are no takers hard to get rid off. last day of transfer window I would suggest at low prices or freebies even loans even then we will probably have to cough up some of their wages.

It’s all a bit fingers crossed on the injuries front until Jan transfer window. And, given the way Dyche likes his players to play full games, week in week out, that’s going to be an issue. Ashley Young’s going to used a lot this season.

Good points, yes. Thelwell does take a lot of flak, but by the end of Friday it might well be the case that he’s done a good job of both balancing the books and giving us decent attacking options. Selling Keane to the knackers yard for glue and getting the Swiss fella in his place would be a very decent transfer window indeed.

It spoke volumes about Keane that when he did that heartstopping back pass to Pickford, he just stood there, watching Pickford struggle instead of reacting to it, like all the Doncaster players around him did. He’s just far too slow-witted as well as slow-footed to play in the PL.
