WTF is wrong with Moshiri and/ or who is pulling his strings. According to Masters Moshiri has indicated he wants to continue talks with 777. Something isn't right about all of this.
1.) 14 May 2024 19:31:17
Yeah it stinks, something is seriously not right about this.
2.) 14 May 2024 19:51:38
May 31 st new date for 777 takeover according to reports.
3.) 14 May 2024 19:52:39
Or to step away from the sensationalism. He has told them they have a little over 2 weeks to prove they can get it done or he ends their exclusivity. It really is the funny season ?.
4.) 14 May 2024 20:19:22
Someone's being paid off, he has extended the deadline again till the end of the month I think this maybe the third time the deadlines been extended. What is the point in setting a deadline in the first place.
{Ed025's Note - its all a bit underhand for my liking Shakey..
5.) 14 May 2024 21:17:26
FBS yes mate just repeating what Masters reportedly told Parliament.
6.) 14 May 2024 21:41:31
Moshiri has probably been promised a price from 777 that they can’t pay and no one else will match. He is likely wanting to recoup as much money as he can - I doubt he cares much for whoever takes over. The highest bidder wins.
7.) 14 May 2024 22:32:50
Despite all his so called intentions, he only ever saw us a commodity he could buy and sell at a profit. I hope he ends up out of pocket big style.
8.) 14 May 2024 23:41:30
"FM was expected to terminate the deal but it's now clear that hasn't happened as he is contractually committed to the end of this month before he can officially terminate the exclusivity period agreement with 777. The likely hood of 777 rescuing the deal are remote due to various legal problems that have arisen recently". Fear not this is just part of the process. Nothing to see here.
9.) 15 May 2024 00:11:43
From what is being reported nothing has been extended with 777 as allegedly 31st May was always the deadline.
Sounds like the reporting regarding the extension could be PR spin from 777.
With all the negative stories around 777 no one in their right mind would extend the deal so I’m happy to believe it’s just clickbait and pr spin from 777.
10.) 15 May 2024 03:16:57
I just hope that Moshiri and the other investors are working right now to have a plan in place for this, because we cannot have another bad window.
11.) 15 May 2024 08:54:11
I've read the same, there is a time line when it can be cancelled and the end of the month it should be, hopefully ended and we can move on, my probelm is who is going to take us on and why would they with everything that's going on, how much dept we are in, what incentives would they have aparts from ripping us apart and selling us off piece by piece and then how does that help us, nobody in the right mind is buying us as we are, our owner needs to lower the price, give someone a chance to come in and make us a better club, as we are right now I just can't see how that can happen, I mean will one new stadium make that much money, if it can why haven't spurs or west ham been doing that with there new stadiums.
12.) 15 May 2024 09:28:20
It was always the 31st May. We are on a runaway train, the tunnel is fast approaching and who knows what’s on the other side?
13.) 15 May 2024 12:44:30
Reading between the lines and the constant sensationalist reporting surrounding our club, this is simply a deadline for 777 to prove they have the cash. This seems doubtful. The more promising reference in the reports is that other parties are lined up to step in. Let's hope this is true.
{Ed002's Note - The relevance of the date is nothing to do with having to complete the takeover - it is a date by which the debt to MSP must be paid else they will take control of the assets - the new stadium. 777 want two of the MSP investors to join their bid and ease some of the debt owed to MSP. They will trade shares in the club, the stadium and will let them have the two seats on the board promised to MSP. Rights and Media Funding blocked the prior attempt for MSP investment as the debt Everton owe to them is secured against other assets the club has (e.g. Goodison Park). 777 Partners have screwed Standard Liege and that should be enough for the Premier League, FA and the Financial Conduct Authority to reject them as owners. The problem Moshiri has is the size of the debts owed to 777 Partners now, not being able to pay the debts to MSP & Rights and Media Funding and where to get the money to complete the stadium. The other concern he has is the time it would take a new bidder to gain agreement from the PL, FA and FCA - hence wanting to push on with 777 Partners. The answer will perhaps be to agree with those owed money to restructure all of the debt in exchange for interest payments whilst the debts are cleared. This would likely involve selling the new stadium and renting it back.}
14.) 15 May 2024 17:15:16
MSP would be a good call. Good post from ED002, well explained. I know it is probably the great unknown (never going to know) but can all Moshiris incompetence really be put down to his 'advisor (s) ', did a certain other individual really clear the scene after 2022.
{Ed002's Note - His neighbour in Monaco certainly advised on transfers. But those running the club on a day-by-day basis, rather than Moshiri, should have been understanding how serious the situation was. Moshiri looked for a quick sale or investment to head off a personal issue.}
15.) 15 May 2024 18:08:23
Cheers Ed, doesn’t seem like any of this will be sorted quickly.
16.) 15 May 2024 18:58:14
Only Everton can build a new stadium and not end up owning it! What is the point then as we get none of the financial benefits might as well stay in the old lady and let the new stadium owners do what they want with it as the rent will be another cost we don’t need when we already own a stadium with no cost rental cost associated! Least then we get to keep all Matchday income!
17.) 15 May 2024 19:35:00
It is dropping to bits the cost of maintenance is prohibitive. The ground and owned surrounds will either be sold or assets seized by creditors (at a guess) .
18.) 15 May 2024 23:39:33
Shouldn't have rebuffed the councils offer of funding for the build.
19.) 16 May 2024 07:16:23
In hindsight it could have led to bigger problems FBS, given the Governments intervention in yet another Councils inability to deliver.

Why is Dyche still here?
1.) 02 Dec 2024 21:17:18
He can't find his way out of the car park.
30 Nov 2024 16:58:59
My fear is that yet again our board have left it to late. 4 pts behind 14th, 5 13th and 7 to 12th. No leadership.
1.) 30 Nov 2024 18:18:43
Results today went our way. A win tomorrow would increase that gap we have over the clubs below us. Never mind a draw just go all out for a win. Be great if we can.
{Ed025's Note - wouldn,t it just Nick..
2.) 30 Nov 2024 18:46:34
Keep saying there are far worse Teams than us Nick, once Freidkin comes in all will change with Everton mate, would take a point tomorrow mate but 3 would be better eh.
3.) 30 Nov 2024 21:41:32
Yes it would mate but unfortunately this bloke doesn't have the guts.
4.) 01 Dec 2024 11:30:14
Not losing seems to be his mantra, looking at the table is worrisome because chasing 1 point instead of 3 has only one winner in the long run.
Sailing this close to the wind without any sign of cajones to change is too painful for words.
5.) 01 Dec 2024 12:35:35
Picks the same players every week, they could just stand there do nothing and still get picked, I'm not really sure he's trying now, I wouldn't want him till the end of the seaon, he looks like he couldn't care if we get relegated with what he's picking, we need change asap.
21 Sep 2024 22:27:08
Team played well. Game management and substitutions once again awful. Dyche is not and hasn't been the messiah, luck has. His inability in almost all aspects of the game to see/ grasp what's needed is there for all to see and perhaps the reason why Burnley finally parted ways.
14 Sep 2024 23:29:28
Can prat on all day about DCL missed this and that but the Team goes out there with a plan devised by manager and coaches. These are players way, way, way above the standard of most of us played. This Manager is not Premiership standard and I have the same doubt about his coaches. Nobody else had a long enough barge pole but we misplaced ours. Cast iron certainty if we persist with him even up to November, we are one of the 3.
1.) 15 Sep 2024 01:01:53
Agree dfs, but dcl should have buried 2 clear opportunities. He didn't shoot for one and let the defender take it off him and the second he hit the crossbar instead of the target. I'm done with dyche, but if your centre forward is wasting chances like that well then it doesn't matter how good or bad the manager is.
2.) 15 Sep 2024 04:33:08
DCL needs to be burying those chances. We can rage about the manager all day but that doesn't excuse players who aren't doing what they're very handsomely rewarded to do.
3.) 15 Sep 2024 08:19:47
Think that’s a bit harsh, personally.
4.) 15 Sep 2024 09:04:09
Should have sold the clown when we had the chance to get decent money for him. That decision was threllwells and he didn’t make the correct one . The club is badly run from top to bottom full of losers and chancers. These cheeky fuks are going to ask me for my BMD seat money in January!
{Ed025's Note - i dont see DCL as a problem Alan, i think its the set up of the team myself mate..
5.) 15 Sep 2024 09:28:07
Not that it matters but think the first one would have been offside.
6.) 15 Sep 2024 15:31:59
It is the setup but dcl is absolute dross.
01 Sep 2024 15:02:28
Just popped in. Comment, Dyche did not/ has not performed miracles. Cannot afford to wait till Xmas!

Bunch of girls! As for Broja, Dyche has declared him a work in progress, so you know where that one is going. As others have said the side looked well balanced against Wolves (apart from Decoures decline) but it won't be the same sude the master tactician puts out next time.
05 Dec 2024 20:00:17
Well tell Dyche to keep his gob shut.
30 Nov 2024 09:25:10
All 3 are not better options than Moyes. It's this let's start running before healing legs attitude by supporters and sheer board incompetence that has us in this mess. The takeover group will have done most of their dilligence, I will wait for them.
24 Nov 2024 13:04:47
Sarri is not the answer.
18 Nov 2024 18:01:28
We didn't pick their sides, we didn't lose their games, it's a load of BS. But I would say Burnley have had their compensation!

Silva would have been fine. Martinez would have been fine but some saw the dollar signs when Moshiri came in.
07 Dec 2024 20:06:54
Stable now apparently.
07 Dec 2024 17:40:53
Who remembers horizontal snow, couldn't lift your legs, boots so clogged up. Ball on ground waste of time, all that for your bus fare and a pie and pint.
06 Dec 2024 10:26:54
Game will be cancelled I reckon.
{Ed014's Note - I thought you northern lads were hardy souls! ?♂️
05 Dec 2024 11:30:56
Smit666 he was ahead/ on his shoulder for both 'his' goals. Broja does look good but that side is not the side our chicken rubbish master tactician will put out against the RS.
