Well I thought out of the 2 wingers, Dibling was much better than McNeil but also since his injury and his problems with his partner, he hasn't been the same player as before. As for Dibling, I think with more game time he will grow in confidence and his performances will improve.

Didn't deserve a win from that, sometimes a team can bring you down to their current level. Not going to get into a debate about this or that player, suffice to say we need a RW, RB and striker (s) unfortunately it is the Jan window.

He played. Better than McNeil. The reason Ndiaye plays out of position on the right is obvious. Get a RW, play Ndiaye in the middle, KDH alongside Tim or Garner, get a RB or Garner. Get a Striker. Flying 2nd half of season.

The reason Ndiaye plays on the right is to accommodate Grealish. Dibling did his job today, others didn’t.

Absolutely down to the bare bones today - no Grealish, Dewsbury-Hall, Ndiaye, so the team picks itself. Only 8 subs and that includes two keepers and two youth players. Hoping for a win but will settle for a draw.

I think he'll start. It's becoming a running theme with Everton managers to not trust a player who needs game time to grow confidence and persist with an out of form player in the hope they come good. Plus if Grealish is fit, McNeil is going to be put on the right, when every player in premier league knows he has no right foot.

We may as well tell opposition manager our tactics for McNeil because it's clear as day that he's just going to come inside onto his left.

I don't know, Rohl and Alcaraz were about the same, lots of running around and Moyes seems to see Alcaraz as a 10 (ish) . We have two players away and with KDH injured, Grealish missing Ndiaye and KDH, we are back to the days of knife to gun fight.

With the CEO and Moyes saying don't get excited about January, it's going to be a struggle. My next game is Sunderland FA Cup.

I think sit Rohl with Tim and Alcaraz in front. Then if Grealish is not available, McNeil on the left and Dibling on the right. Stick Beto up top and just ping balls into him. I think they have Esteve out so at least they will be vulnerable too.

We should win, we need to win, we have to win if we have any ideas of getting into Europe. But we are Everton, we need some of the fringe players to exceed expectations, we need to score first and we need Moyes to have some belief in players who are not his favorites.
