Hello all,
My missus is out with her mates today at a day rave and I’m the designated taxi for when it ends at 10pm.
I’m not sure what I’m dreading more: Gordon’s inevitable impact today (you just know something is going to happen) , or picking up four tanked up, forty-something Mum’s who will spend the entire journey home repeating themselves and singing.

I’m not sure how you’re feeling? If you’re like me then it’s hoping for the best and fearing the worst.
If we don’t get something out of the game today and he is still in a job on Monday. I have a cunning plan to get a grip of the current situation:
I’m going to open an Evertonians Refuge as a safe space for all Toffees that have been abused by their club in recent times.
Weekend breaks will be a snip at £300 and there’ll be a waiting list as long as your arm. I reckon I’ll be able to buy the club myself in a couple of years.

I’m not going to crap on Young for that penalty miss, that can happen. But he looked like he got away with a penalty shout late on, which is just par for the course in every match he plays in.

You're so right benny. Var would've give that all day. He's been nothing but a liability since he's been at the club. How we can pay him a wage is beyond the capabilities of my own personal rational thought process.

I was grateful for a point last night as I think that if Newcastle were anywhere near their normal level, we’d have lost.
I know the old adage of “lies, damn lies and statistics”, but here are the premier league level opposition’s possession stats at Goodison for this season:
Newcastle 67.9%
Palace 59.9%
Southampton 73.9%
Bournemouth 53.1%
Brighton 61.8%
The only game I think we played well in out of the above was the first 87 minutes against Bournemouth and look how that ended.
Other than that it has been pretty woeful. If you can’t hang onto the ball for 1, how and you 2 make any progress against the opposition?
This is why I think we gas out late in games as we’re chasing the ball all the time and get knackered.
I just hope we can keep nicking points here and there and that Freidkin get shot of this dinosaur in November.
