Would take Che Adams's all day long, good player.

I wouldn’t, not good enough, it would be another bad signing, he scoring record is very mediocre in a very creative team!

I'm not too sure Uran. Different players suit different styles. Take Akpom. Hardly scored for previous teams but banged in 27+ goals for Middlesborough last season. Adams does well for Scotland in internationals. I'd judge a player by how they do for us, not how they did for previous teams. Some top strikers do brilliant at 1 club and poor and next one ie torres Liverpool - Chelsea. Also Salah. Not good enough at Chelsea, but great for Liverpool.

I would all day long Sean will get him and DCL working well with each other, far better than Maupay.

4.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 09:13:46
Not prolific no Uran nor would be my 1st choice but I think he fits us and our style, the lads a grafter and holds the ball up well.

Is there anyone you wouldn't take GB?

6.) 18 Aug 2023

Dyche type of player puts a shift in and decent link up play. plus his middle name is Everton lol. i will believe it when he is in 1 of are tops and I'm guessing holgate will be going in part of the deal ????.

Has scored 1 in 3 and 1 in 4 past couple of seasons so he's consistent enough in the prem.
He's got 2 in 3 this season albeit in the championship.

Miles better than what we have available and an upgrade on Simms who has left.
When we look at improving the squad then yes he's better than Maupay and Simms are.

8.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 09:41:16
As much as we would all love a prolific goal scorer, they are few and far between and certainly out of our price range at the moment. When Maupay plays we not only lack goals but also a focal point up top, its pretty obvious we are a better team with DCL involved, even if he doesn't score, he occupies defenders, holds the ball up and brings others into play. I think Che Adams offers the same, just look at JWP's goal against us last season, he was left open unmarked because both our CBs where dragged over to compete with Adams.

I don't see DCL and Adams in same time GB. Too similar and 1 up top.

12.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 09:50:32
Think he's a sensible choice and signal that DCL is still our preferred number 1. But if you're a back up striker that wants games like Che Adams then Everton are your go to teal surely??.

13.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 10:06:30
I’d snap him up immediately.
Great work rate, premiership ready to go.
Would work in a 2 upfront.
I’d be walking away from the Leeds situation and focus on getting Adams in ASAP.

14.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 10:13:23
Shocking forwards we have signed remember kone niasse tosun ramierez Rondon terrible signings Adam's would be a massive step up from them. bring him off the bench or start him when DCL isn't feeling well. So should start most games. ??COYB.

15.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 10:32:03
I think we all knew this season would be tough on transfers given our financial situation and our recent ending positions in the league. Our options aren't great or vast. Che Adams isn't everyones first choice but he improves our attacking options. An injured DCL is obviously useless. Maupay just isn't good enough. And we need someone soon.

Its a mess, created by the board seasons ago with bad recruitment and overspending. Now we are paying the price.

16.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 10:38:49
100% better than Maupay bw mate, no Brainer really.

17.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 10:48:34
If your selection criteria is that they have to be 100% better than Maupay then that's a very low bar.

18.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 11:15:46
Scrapping the barrel now, probably our 10th choice.

19.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 11:28:38
I can see what people are saying about che, but he scored 10 goals in all competitions last season, please show me where a player in the Everton team scored 10 goals, exactly they didnt, he's is an upgrade no matter what anyone says, he was in a team that to be fair was shocking but still managed to score 10 goals, at the stage we are, I'd take him all day long, unless you think someone like daka is better, he will just be another maupay, we would all love harry kane, but let's take the blinkers off, we aren't a club that top top players want to come to, so che Adam's is and should be a top target for us, experience, scores goals, holds the ball up to bring other players in to the game, what's not to like for 12 million if that's a correct valuation that I've read.

20.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 11:53:17
Not sure Che will work with DCL better than Muapay if you consider we only play with one forward not two?

21.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 12:02:35
Adams has stepped up to PL from Championship better than most. For £12mil I don't see why people are reluctant? He's a goalscorer and a grafter and bulldog in the box, who makes smart decisions on and off the ball. With service from McNeil, Harrison, Garner, Danjuma etc he could be a revelation for us. Also challenges DCL as they are similar, but different enough that they could play together if needs be.

22.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 12:53:19
If you play Che and SCL together then you will have to leave out either Dwight! Harrison Iwobi, can see that working, he is what he is a “5 to 8million pound striker.

23.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 12:56:20
Anyway he’s too small 5 ft 8 inches smaller than Maupey.

24.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 13:09:13
BW he just goes with the flow.

25.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 13:20:00
Could be a sensible signing, he’s not on massive wages at Southampton, strong and direct, better than maupay, wouldn’t be disappointed if he signed.

26.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 14:01:04
Not for me gang. We’ve had some dud strikers over the years and sure he’ll be another. Really hope I’m wrong.

Have to say fearing the worst this season. It’s all doom and gloom in this evertonian household.

27.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 15:42:37

28.) 18 Aug 2023

It’s tiring listening to you lot moaning all the bloody time.

29.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 16:04:22
Let’s face it: our expensive first choice striker is not going to play much due to his ongoing injuries so we need a backup that isn’t Maupay so Adams is a cost effective option. Proven premiership level and we need someone who can play up front. Have for years. Sensible signing - get it done.

30.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 16:17:48
Ooh did someone say we'd have to leave Iwobi out? Sign in him.

31.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 16:36:28
Uran did you just claim saints "a very creative team"? Oh dear oh dear. Terrible lies. They barely created any chances and take out WPs penalties and free kicks and that leaves a shockingly low goals for.
Their % of play in the opposition final 3rd is also ridiculously low.
I'm not a fan of Adams but he will do a job for us and should we keep up the performances shown possible in the Fulham game, he should hit a few more here than he did with them last season. 10 goals in all competitions in that awful team was pretty good. He should beat that by 50% here of he plays in a team that creates 6+ chances a game. And for £10m ish on a pay plan? Our special measure officer will approve. This is exactly the deal not Gnonto for 25m etc.

32.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 17:52:57
Adams has mainly been on the bench and used as a sub, he not their first choice striker, similar to Maupey At Brighton.

33.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 18:21:15
It looks from the possession stats were just going to be a counter attacking team with a bit of pace being signed. Adams would fit that more than Maupay.

34.) 18 Aug 2023
18 Aug 2023 19:17:55
Maupay dances about when he gets there, all well and good if you are truly talented. I remember once being told (after scoring twice) by a very good coach in the early 70's not to 'p' about and do my job, he was right.
