Think Shalke move a good one for us and Jonjoe. We must have RB lined up then. Any rumours?

1.) 10 Jun 2019 17:02:21
We have Holgate coming back, maybe he will step in.

2.) 10 Jun 2019 18:58:21
Have you seen their announcement of signing Jonjoe?

South Park style in Kenny’s orange coat with the caption
“Oh my god. they’ve signed Kenny! ” 🤣🤣.

3.) 10 Jun 2019 20:14:15
Top German clubs want Kenny he should stay here.

4.) 10 Jun 2019 21:12:07
Yea DC let's keep him here sitting on the bench instead of playing week in week out for a year getting all that useless experience, what's the point ay.

5.) 11 Jun 2019 11:41:09
Defo Johnny mate Marco will have someone lined up.

6.) 11 Jun 2019 12:48:15
Been a lot of chatter about this Reece James from chelsea.

7.) 11 Jun 2019 15:50:59
Holgate will be the cover this year.

8.) 11 Jun 2019 23:21:10
I bet if I said Silva should get a five year contract you lot would want to sack him, you just want an argument well so what.

9.) 12 Jun 2019 07:50:43
I don't want to argue with u DC just think that's ridiculous statement, he's a young lad who needs to be playing and if playing a full season in Germany means he's gunna come back next year and be our starting right back then brilliant or he could flop massively and then we will know he's not good enough. Saying he should stay because a German team want him is ridiculous mate he needs the experience of being first choice for a year.

24 Dec 2018 22:14:30
Just like to wish all fellow Blue boys and girls and the Eds all the very best for Christmas and 2019.

{Ed025's Note - same to you ted mate..

1.) 25 Dec 2018 03:44:42
Merry Christmas fellow Blues from Georgia. I’m planning to unwrap that great big box from Marco Silva for a great 2nd half of the season (40 points) . Maybe a top shelf striker in my stocking.

2.) 25 Dec 2018 12:35:16
Enjoy Christmas before reality sets in.

14 Jun 2017 12:55:27
There's a Sandro in the Spanish U21 squad for the forthcoming Euros. If it's the same one we are interested in it may give us a chance to see what we could be getting or missing.

1.) 14 Jun 2017 21:46:13
Tedster he is the same player we are interested in but got the feeling we might miss out on him though hope I am wrong as I think he is a really good young striker.

10 Jan 2017 20:07:32
BBC say Schneiderlin fee agreed

13 Nov 2016 17:05:47
Looks like Koeman may be walking in Memphis.

1.) 13 Nov 2016 17:23:32
Wonder if he'll see the ghost of Elvis on Union Avenue?

Massive win. Days like this you just know why you're an Evertonian.

30 Apr 2022 19:00:55
In a few weeks we can all look back at the injuries, poor refereeing, VAR, Moshiri, lack of effort, attitude and ability on the pitch, managerial shortcomings etc. but for now we're still in the top flight. We're not a great side. We've already lost to Watford, Burnley and Norwich who let's face it are pretty poor too.
However we do have a performance in us and whilst it's mathematically possible you've got to believe, support and hope we get a decent points haul on the run in whatever other teams at the bottom do. A bit of luck for a change wouldn't come amiss too.

{Ed0666's Note - great post

1.) 30 Apr 2022 22:04:12
Great post Tedster. For me it is about Watford away. If we lose there, when pretty much everyone else has won there, including Burnley today, then we probably deserve everything we get!

07 Apr 2022 16:40:19
Everton have been in the top flight since I was an infant. I've been hurt by defeats before and frustrated with all the mismanagement since Moshiri. Can't ever remember feeling as deflated as I am now.
The league table doesn't lie and I just don't see any revival coming soon, though there is still hope. If I am honest I think we probably deserve to go down.

What hurts is the players, setting aside their limited ability, haven't given 100% and others who probably would have left everything out on the pitch have been overlooked. The majority of players are not Evertonians and will move on emotionally, post their exotic holiday snaps on Instagram while we will probably be looking at a fixture list that includes the likes of Reading and Coventry.

I genuine hope and pray we stay up but no team has a devine right to top tier status. If it is the Championship next season it's a brutal league but I'll accept it, hope there's a proper clear out and plan, still support and as they say once a Blue always a Blue.

1.) 07 Apr 2022 17:37:28
Great Post Tedster. Couldn't have worded it better myself. Shame our love and passion for our club isn't shared by those on the pitch.

2.) 07 Apr 2022 19:51:48
We have pay and display car parks. Everton should do the same with the team. Display some passion and we will pay.

09 Mar 2022 11:35:55
I've always been an advocate of bringing young players through and also playing people in their correct position.
When I look back to the dozens of points we dropped when the last manager stubbornly refused starts or decent substitute minutes to younger squad players and we are seeing the same again now.
I don't subscribe to this ' we need to protect them ' and a poor performance could ' damage their confidence ' theory.
Think how much better the likes of Dobbin, Patterson etc would be with the game time experience. After all the points total wouldn't have been any worse.

1.) 09 Mar 2022 13:14:46
Agree Ted, the present bunch of defenders are just too slow and that is why we got thrashed at Spurs. When we have the ball we just pass sideways. We need some fast young players who give a damn about the club. Gordon has shown what he can do this year, give a few more a chance.

2.) 09 Mar 2022 16:08:50

3.) 09 Mar 2022 19:09:58
As much as we all agree about that last manager. We're back to this delusion that we have decent young players and that each manager makes the same mistake by not playing them? This is beyond Groundhog day and I'm starting the pity some of your intelligence levels.

4.) 09 Mar 2022 21:07:43
So what's the alternative, stick with the ones that are getting us into this mess? How do we know what the kids can do if not given the chance? Gordon is a good example, given a chance and our best player by far. I am not suggesting we play all the young players just one or two, especially give the two new boys, Patterson and Mykolenko a game, they are both full Internationals. You are entitled to your opinion but don't insult people who want to see improvement in the side.

5.) 09 Mar 2022 22:30:13
Completely agree with the points above. Mykalenko and Patterson should be starting games. Especially Patterson he was the brightest on the pitch against Boreham Wood. How Kenny is still at the club I will never know, he's bang average. Keane is up there with sigurdsson as of the biggest flops we have ever signed (both 2 of the worst players in our clubs history) . Holgate well we perservered with him but he's a clown as well. Branthwaite should be making centre back his own. I think dobbin has looked great when he has come on, he looks busy hungry and has appetite to close down. For this reason alone I'd like to see him get a half even if he doesn't start. The same names consistently let us down now and simply cannot be relied on:
Coleman (feel for him)

I know dcl has been injured but he doesn't look up to it at the moment. I would take him out the 1st 11 and keep Richardson up top but he needs support. I know I will get slated for this because he 'works hard' (by the way that's a given in under 9s football) but richarlison isn't by any means my favourite player, he doesn't score anywhere near enough or assist and to top that off has that sulky look and doesn't loom like he wants to be there.

If we can stay up I think if we could punt both richarlison and dcl on for good money and reinvest with quality hungry astute signings then that maybe the way to build.

{Ed0666's Note - correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t Mykalenko a Rafa acquisition?

6.) 09 Mar 2022 22:52:51
Yep? What's your point?!?!

I was never one of those on here screaming and crying about rafas appointment.

Fair enough the players didn't seem to take to his tactics and they became strange tactics towards the end of his tenure so cannot say I was surprised that he was sacked. I do believe he had a lot of bad luck with the injuries and lack of players at his disposal.

I believe everton started digging there own grave in summer 2017 so I for one can only wish rafa the best.

I believe he should take some credit in the signings of gray and townsend. Also I could see the sense at the time in selling digne. He had been crap for us for some months. And we needed to generate revenue and cut the wage bill.

7.) 10 Mar 2022 00:37:33
Give it a rest ed0666. Everton are in deep trouble and it does no good for anyone in the City including Liverpool supporters to have them relegated. I don't care who recruited who, what we need is for our best eleven to play and get some points. Unfortunately Coleman great servant that he has been is just not quick enough and needs replacing. Don't even start me on Kenny or Keane. This forum is all about our opinions and we have no other way of venting our frustration.

8.) 10 Mar 2022 10:09:34
Agree with your post Ted, this was the same under Ancelotti constantly playing players out of their natural position and not promoting special-ist in that position from the under 23 team! Then you have to ask why do we have a reserve team? They should be groomed and ready to play in their natural position when called upon when this place comes available, especially in the full back positions which is definitely a difficult position to fill
I made a post earlier this week stating that David Unsworth should be more demanding in promoting his best players if he doesn’t then we need to know the reasons as we can’t just keeping on buying players for Millions and find they make little difference.

31 Jan 2022 18:46:39
After the awful season so far I am starting to look to the rest of this season and next with confidence.

We have a manager with something to prove, deadline signings with points to prove and hopefully a newly self motivated existing squad with plenty to prove.

The added ingredient is us the fans. We need to stick together, show maximum vocal support and stay up at all costs.

Think we will see more goals from midfield and we will need them as can't see a quick watertight defence and defensive midfield solution at the moment.

1.) 31 Jan 2022 19:17:32
Tedster - think the fans have a point to prove also.

Got to stop all this negativity and toxicity and start a fresh.

Get behind the manager and the team and prove that we are a good buch of fans who support the team and can be that 12th man so to speak.

We've lost 16 league games so far this season. Both managers trusting experience over youth. We would be no worse off had they rolled the dice.
Whilst I am no big fan of the three at the back got to agree with comments above that Patterson would seem to suit that system.

Agree Woburn. I'd start both full backs. At Southampton easily beaten in the air. That second one was a poor one to concede.
Knowing our luck, with situation in Ukraine Mykolenko will probably get called up for national service!

Love your optimism GB. Think with our defence it could be a case of we're going to need to score one more than you.
Reckon we'll be okay. Just need to bed in new signings and get some of them match fit.
We have got goals in us and have a bit more creativity now going forward.
