Not sure where you have been last couple of days, another planet perhaps? But under no circumstances should Armstrong go, and you are clearly very much in the minority, as the general fan base over the weekend showed.

Or are you saying everyone else is wrong and you are right?

I don't understand why narrow minded opinions can't understand the following:
1) That some players are potentially our future, to show true ambition we must keep hold of that talent and not splurge funds on tom, dick or harry because you have seen them play in the world cup or on You Tube!
2) Selling to a team like Forrest who finished below us in the league last year, who could be perceived a rival (currently) and potentially strengthening them to the detriment of EFC
3) That Armstrong's value could be 3 or 4 times in a few years, compared to what Forrest would pay now and that Forrest would benefit from that increased income, not us! If indeed we face the that scenario where we are forced to sell him in the future.

Selling him now, therefore is absolute utter madness!

Might be controversial, but if TFG have indeed pulled the plug on the Armstrong deal, then fair play to them.

I was as angry as everyone else when it was leaked, but let's be honest; fans get furious at their owners all the time - I can't think of many occasions they've listened.

Plus, from their perspective, 40m for Harrison is 40m pure profit, which is invaluable with PSR.

You can't blame them for being tempted.

So, not saying they're great, and I think Kinnear should be in trouble for considering it (because he should know better, and he's the one who shouldn't have killed it before it got legs) , but fair play to the actual owner for actually listening to the fans, even if not listening would have been a disaster for them.

On a side note, Harrison himself decided to stay with the first team and not travel to Nottingham yesterday despite being told he could by the Board. He refused to make the trip and opted to play for Everton instead at Bournemouth. Strong head on young shoulders. Well done son, future captain. 👏👏👏
