Chermite scores a hat-trick for Rangers. Buy him. 🤔.

Saw that, mate. Scoring for fun now.

It makes you wonder if we should have been lining out some of the players a bit longer. If not to make them better, to get the transfer price up a bit.

7 goals in the Scottish league, still not pulling up any trees, is it?

2 against Celtic, 3 against Hearts. He took them well, though I always look to see how he gets on. Good luck to the lad.

The standard in Scotland is below Championship level, that's why he's scoring.

I think we're too quick to get rid of a lot of young players (especially strikers) , but I don't think he's one we'll regret - He's pretty wildly unpopular up there, and 5 of his goals came in 2 games. He's got 2 in the other 27 games, against a lot of very poor opposition.

No idea whether he'll turn out to be good enough, Alex, but let's not forget he's 21 and had barely kicked a ball for 2 years before this season, so it's unsurprising he's taken time to get going. Also, the 5 goals in 2 games happened to be in crucial games against the other two members of the top 3.

I watch every Rangers game, and Chemiti is starting to show his talent. He's quick, he can hold up play, and he's starting to bully defenders. I can see why Figo was raving about him. He scored three on Sunday, but his second was a brilliant header that Big Dunc would be proud of. He's miles better than Barry n Beto.

Chermiti has found his level the part time Scottish league.

Just arrived at Goodison for the women's game vs West Ham with the lad. Have missed coming to this place! COYB.

1-0 to the Blues. We were awful in the first half, despite taking the lead, and should have killed the game off in the second half with two one-on-ones, but hit it at the keeper both times. Pleased the lad got to see a win at the Old Lady.

I have watched Graham's goal for the under 18's in the youth cup several times, he is a natural. Hope that he doesn't leave due to lack of senior opportunities. Moyes needs to watch that shot, in fact Barry and Beto should view it. Maybe the coaches could get him to give the two of them some lessons.

We should be giving these young lads a chance, Blue Mike, but don't hold your breath.

1

14 Feb 2026 13:34:55
Yes, we should give him a chance, but idiot Moyes would rather have two keepers on the bench.

2

14 Feb 2026 19:14:31
Have said that many times in the last few months, mate.

F***S, do you consider yourselves better coaches/managers? 5ft 9 inch, by the way, is not small.

1

Of course we don't. It's our opinion. Give your head a wobble, mate.

A friend of mine said he was told the derby is going to be moved from the Saturday to the Sunday can anyone confirm this, its just I've to book flights.

Wish it was being moved to next year. :)

Can we move it to 1991 and repeat the FA Cup tie? I got my first season ticket that year, but I didn't get to the cup game as it was a school night and my mum wouldn't have it; I was 7, to be fair. Would have loved to have seen that game!

"They need to do a bit more before they're ready for the first team". David Moyes reply when asked about academy players.
Now normally I would agree with this comment. However, given our failings in some positions and the fact that we are safe from relegation.

Surely now is the ideal time to integrate some of these players into the first team squad.
Armstrong has shown that age is no barrier if you have the talent to go with it. Might also give the fans a bit of a lift seeing academy players on show.

Unfortunately there is little to no chance any academy players will get time under Moyes.

He is way too stubborn to do something like that.

He’d rather stick with players he knows, play players out of position, persevere with out of form players, not use some of the players he chose to sign and set up the team negatively and deploy boring tactics than try something fresh and dynamic.

What more is there? Take the game by the scruff of the neck by scoring and creating goals. Show more technical ability than the first-team strikers in front of you. He said he isn't big enough or quick enough.

Fair enough on the size thing, but there are plenty of smaller players in the league. The pace thing is laughable; he moves quicker than any of our front line with the ball.

He's not big enough if your only tactic is to lump it up the pitch for a loan striker to head it on to nobody. Here's a thought: play him behind the donkey; he can pick up those silky lay-offs he makes.

The size thing has got to be more to do with his physique than how tall he is, and I do get that; it's an unforgiving league. That said, Barry and Beto are big fellas; they just don't have the ability.

I'd certainly get BG on the bench and look to give him minutes if we are well in control of a game, so there's less pressure on the lad.

Jimmy Kranky and Warwick Davis are tiny but they know where the onion bag is.

13 Feb 2026 12:22:43
Tony Cottee and Tim Cahill weren't giants but could find the back of the net regularly so size shouldn't be a issue.

13 Feb 2026 17:47:52
Jermain defoe 5ft 7 Robbie Keane 5ft 9 same as Graham give the lad a go i say.

14 Feb 2026 07:07:05
Mo Salah banged a few in. He's small compared to our giants. Maradona, the greatest ever, was small. Big defenders hate having to mark smaller, quick players. Their brains don't react as quickly. Just keep it on the grass and not up in the clouds.
