I'll say this before I go to bed
Football is a simple game.
Put 4 defenders across the back in front of a goalie.
Put 4 midfielders in front of the defence who, between them, can win the ball, move the ball and run with the ball.
Put 2 strikers (in any strategic combination you choose) ahead of the midfielders.
If they are all good enough to earn their money then you will have a team. A unit. A group of players who know how to move the ball from a defensive position onto an attacking footing. It's really that simple. Don't play a man out of position or ask him to do a job that is not natural to him.
Football isn't a complicated game. Don't complicate it.

I can't be bothered having another go at Dyche but why is Garner playing right back? He's a midfielder and we have a fit right back. The man baffles me. In the end its the same old story. Ndaiye best player on the pitch taken off again. Played for the point in a winnable game.

When he took Lindstrom and ndiye off we had nothing in attack. Dom looked shattered. We just invited pressure from a team that offered nothing whilst we had possession and outballs. McNeil should not be playing in the wing. Harrison should not be playing at all.
Once again Dyches abysmal subs have lost us points.

Give him what he wants but make him sign a long term deal. 7 yrs. Build a team around him. This kid is class and we will struggle to replace him. Pay for quality instead of the last few seasons of paying over 100k per week for dross.

Wow. I thought Godfrey was a future captain after his first season. Don't know what happened to him but 3 yrs on the bench and ends up with champions league football? What a world we live in ?.

Ffp an absolute joke of a rule. Don't anyone tell me it's nothing more than a corrupt system just like var. Keep the top 4.don't let anyone else get close. Back in the 80s we didn't have ffp and no one went bust. Funny that isn't it?

I've resigned myself to seeing us go down. I'm 48 years old, and I have watched the 85 team home, away and at semis and finals, both domestic and European. I have watched us escape relegation on the last day twice and last season with a few games to go.
This season I think we need to go down. This club needs a total shakedown so the rats and deadwood will scarper.
Hopefully a real, passionate fan will come and rebuild us from back top to bottom. We could then become an institution again. We could once again be proud of our club and its values and more importantly our footballing philosophy. We will go on blues and we will rise again as our fan base deserves it! No matter what happens just keep the faith and remember that we are the ultimate sleeping giant and one day we will have those highs that I have been blessed to experience once again.

I'd like to see G Potter given a chance. Southgate is a no no. At least Potter, with backing, could bring a new philosophy to the club. Southgate is just a puppet and he's been out of club football for years. He doesn't take risks and I think we've all had enough of that type of football. Give Potter time and resources and I believe he could be the man to take us up a level.

You're so right benny. Var would've give that all day. He's been nothing but a liability since he's been at the club. How we can pay him a wage is beyond the capabilities of my own personal rational thought process.
