Just signed a 16 year old striker, next will be a signing for the woman's team, then the first team.

This is good news as far as I'm concerned. I know he's very thought of in Scotland. Not bothered what order they come in, as long as we have them in for pre season.

Excellent news, very highly rated lad.

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - although i like planning for the future GB this seems a bit pointless to me mate in the position we are in, lets be honest with this management set up he will not get a look in for at least 4 years or so and i think we have more pressing needs, i dont want to rain on the lads parade but i think we need to strengthen the first team squad first and put all our efforts there..

1

15 Jun 2026 18:44:10
I'm just saying this is usually the order, youth, women's, then men's first team. Might have to wait a while before seeing any. I see Brighton have signed a rb for 8m, another bargain.

I think we are going to have a really good transfer window Ed mate, TFG will know that a good few of our players need upgrading mate, we will do ok

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - you always look on the bright side of things GB and thats why i enjoy your posts mate, i think we will have a mixed window myself which i expect to be adequate without being spectacular and im not sure on how this Burnley fiasco will effect our budget..

0

15 Jun 2026 19:43:19
When the outcome was released, it said that any fine would not impact current PSR. Assuming this means the budget will not be affected.

Advanced talks to re-sign John Stones that should cheer a couple up.

2

15 Jun 2026 18:08:06
You'll be lucky, GB.

1

15 Jun 2026 18:18:39
We all know just how good a player Stones is. The obvious concern is his fitness. I would take him if he's on a sensible contract, and if we were also sensible about how and when we play him, and don't run him into the ground as we have with players in the past.

He doesn't have to play CB as he would also make a really good DM.

1

15 Jun 2026 18:20:57
He's only 32, mate, and called up for England.

0

15 Jun 2026 19:04:35
He may be GB, but he only managed 436 minutes of football last season, mate. The season before that wasn't any better, with 544.

It doesn't matter how good he is if we can't get him on the pitch.

He is currently on 250k a week. No chance he comes to us for anything less than 100/150k, which is a hell of a wage to offer a new signing that is still in his prime years.

1

15 Jun 2026 19:27:28
If he's any good, then why are Manc getting rid of him, bit like us with Shamus Coleman? We know he's done, but Coventry still think they're getting a good player. Stones should never put an Everton shirt on again.

15 Jun 2026 14:19:17
Reading we have had a bid of £11 million plus £7 million in add on turned down by Middlesborough, they are holding out for £20 million up front and £5 million in add ons, hmmmmm.

1

15 Jun 2026 15:49:22
A long hot summer. Let em sweat.

0

15 Jun 2026 15:53:03
Move on then, if we are going to be scraping the barrel for players under £12m, it looks like we will be in a relegation battle. Stop being so tight, we've got such a small club attitude, it's no wonder we struggle to attract players.

3

15 Jun 2026 19:11:56
How is it a small club attitude to offer £18m for a Championship player, in the last year of his contract, who also, by all accounts, wants to join us?

Why would we offer more than what we think he is worth - that is literally what a small club would do, because they are desperate and scared of missing out.

I am sure that whether we end up in a relegation battle or not will not be determined by a player who has managed 14 goals and 14 assists in 139 Championship games.

15 Jun 2026 07:34:46
Alrite ed 025 hope you are well mate just wondering there's few rumours online saying we are going to throw down a 30 mil bid for delap of Chelsea just curious if we actually hold any interest any feedback be much appreciated thank you

1

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - we were interested before he moved to Chelsea Andy and i believe we did make a bid but he chose not to come to us, personally i dont rate him and i hope we avoid him like the plague, but he will obviously will be linked mate..

4

15 Jun 2026 11:55:07
I know we've not seen much of him this season, but would we have been happy this time last year if he arrived? I wonder whether a loan with an obligation if he scores a number of goals would be better business? I wouldn't be too disappointed either way. Showed promise at Ipswich, young and has a point to prove.

1

15 Jun 2026 14:42:17
I haven't heard of us putting any bid in, although a lot of rumours about us potentially being interested, but is that just because we were interested last summer?

I have heard that Chelsea are willing to sell him, but want a fee in excess of £40m for him, whether that's true or not, considering the poor season he's had, to value him at that price baffles me.

Personally, I wouldn't want him. He had the option to come to us last season for guaranteed first team football, but opted to sit on the bench for more money.

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - im with you OS..

1

15 Jun 2026 14:10:04
That would work better for us for sure JB.

I am not a fan of the lad tbh mate. I don't mind the old sh**housery behaviour e.g. Vardy but he backs it up with performances and numbers and you can tell he will give his all to the cause. In Delap's case, he just seems like he enjoys acting like a d***head to me mate.

He had an ok season for Ipswich but didn't show bags of ability imo. He was destined to flop at Chelsea.

1

15 Jun 2026 14:55:22
Would rather keep B no1.

1

15 Jun 2026 16:15:37
Wouldn't deal with Chelsea. The club's rotten to the corr, over inflated prices, dodgy dealings. We'd probably get another points deduction.

0

14 Jun 2026 07:39:48
We are supposed to be in talks about a striker Uedo from Feyenoord. Have you any info on this guy, BlueNose? Cheers mate.

2

14 Jun 2026 12:21:09
Good player scored goals in Japan, Belgium and Netherlands, but took 3 seasons before he started returning big numbers in the Netherlands. Worry would be handling the physicality of the Premier League but is definitely better than Barry, although you probably already new that without seeing him play!

3

14 Jun 2026 13:45:19
Sounds a very useful player, mate.

2

14 Jun 2026 17:19:54
Like Rlchris said, GB, he is certainly better than what we have, but I would prefer us to go after other options.

Despite him being under 6ft, he is actually very useful in the air, mate. I don't watch an awful lot of Eredivisie, but have watched him playing for Japan and Feyenoord in Europe.

A lot of the goals he has scored are down to the poor level of the defenders and goalkeepers in that league. He won't get those same types of chances in the PL.

He is a much more natural finisher than the chuckle brothers, though, mate. It will be interesting to see how he does against the Dutch later.

1

15 Jun 2026 08:42:27
Didn't do much for me, but can't judge on one game, I suppose.

0

15 Jun 2026 09:01:50
Few other Japan players I'd rather sign. Shame we couldn't get Kubo through the door last summer.

1

12 Jun 2026 15:59:18
River Plate in talks to sign Charley Alcaraz apparently according to Everton FC News.

3

12 Jun 2026 17:16:21
The Everton Way. Sort out Women's Team. Sort out Youth Team. Sell players from First Team. See what's left over and pay extortionate amounts of money and not play them. Hoping I am completely wrong and we get some absolute gems. There must be a plan.

1

12 Jun 2026 17:46:06
Sounds a good way that mate, clever people TFG.

4

12 Jun 2026 22:49:53
Shame. Wasn't given a chance by Moyes.

5

11 Jun 2026 14:06:52
Hear we are now willing to pay £20 million for Hackney, but Middlesbrough holding out for £25 million. Time to walk away from this one, agree with BlueNose better players are avaiable.

7

11 Jun 2026 17:11:24
Where do these numbers originate from, GB. We will know the true figures if and when we or someone else gets him. If no club is willing to meet Middlesbrough's price, he can stay with them for another year and we or someone else can get him for nothing.

6

12 Jun 2026 12:40:25
Who are the better players you can get for less than £20m, GB? Considering we paid double that for doubling and 30 for Barry, I am not convinced our scouts are good enough to find the cheap talent that is obviously out there because both Bournemouth and Brighton manage to find them repeatedly!

5

12 Jun 2026 23:37:39
Hackney is well worth it.

2

13 Jun 2026 07:34:15
This is a tough one tbf. 25 million for a Championship player is very very high. Then add to that, he's got a year left on his contract, only makes it sound worse. Remember he's not played in the Prem either.

But he's the best player in the Championship and that's pretty evident when you see him play. Still 25 million is a lot of money out of what we have this summer (not that I know how much that is) .

1

11 Jun 2026 01:21:02
Everton close to Harry Wilson and Hackney and also Jedi, small fee, get a decent left back. UTFT Toney would be good as well.

2

11 Jun 2026 07:49:41
Jedi?

0

11 Jun 2026 09:23:13
Luke Skywalker next in.

1

11 Jun 2026 09:26:19
I'm guessing it's a typo or autocorrect, so today's game guess who Jedi could be just by the proximity of the letters. Beto could be a guess only, we've got him, so over to you, yobs and grills.

0

11 Jun 2026 09:26:49
Antonee Robinson - goes by Jedi because he loves Star Wars, I think.

Wouldn't be my first choice, but a very welcome upgrade on Myko.
Crazy that we've let Digne, Robinson and Nkounkou, even Thierry Smalls, all leave, while tying Myko to a contract no one wanted him to have.

2

11 Jun 2026 09:31:12
Well, on an AI search, it suggests it might be Antonee Robinson, whose nickname is Jedi. On the typo theme, Messi could be a consideration.

1

11 Jun 2026 14:30:15
Saw this on social media but didn't really trust the source. Where'd you get the information from?

2

11 Jun 2026 16:05:22
Can hear Moyes now. Feel the force, team, defend the goal at all costs. Stay in formation and only attack if we are losing. With R2D2 in goal and Chewbacca and C-P3O in defence, we have a chance.

3

11 Jun 2026 16:38:48
Bmd. 🤣🤣

0

11 Jun 2026 18:49:02
Obi-Wan.. nil to the Blues!

I'd take that.

3

10 Jun 2026 14:41:10
Just saw Burnley have won a case to sue us for £40m for FFP breach a few seasons ago.

I haven't read the article as it's probably clickbait, but if it is the case, surely Man City would be able to get sued by everyone.

With Sigurdsson leaving a few years ago what was the outcome with that as it was very hush hush? Heard a few rumours about it, didn't know if anyone has any knowledge about it.

0

10 Jun 2026 20:25:15
Yeah it's true but we are appealing apparently, anything from you on it Ed's

0

https://liverpool-rumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_Ed001.png avatar{Ed001's Note - only that you are appealing the severity, not the actual punishment, which you already accepted in principal by making a payment to Leeds over it. I would expect the amount will be reduced.}

1

11 Jun 2026 09:36:01
Reading the club statement Ed it does look like they're appealing the whole idea of culpability on their part. Looks like they're appealing to want the whole thing reversed.

The Club does not recognise the findings of the panel in determining Burnley's relegation from the Premier League in May 2022 was caused by a sporting advantage gained by Everton due to a breach of Profit & Sustainability Rules, for which a substantive sporting sanction has already been received. (Copied from club statement)
Whether that means they're all in for an appeal or just the severity of punishment, looks like they're appealing former to me.

0

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - and its right we appeal Ace, it was not our decision to delay any punishment for PSR breaches ...thats down to the FA, so let Burnley sue them mate..

1

11 Jun 2026 15:51:59
It was the Premier League, not the FA, who were not ready to go ahead with the sanctioning as they "did not have time" due to other major issues being investigated, i.e. Chelsea and Man City. The club should have a case on a few grounds.

1) Premier League's decision to postpone the hearings/etc until after the season finished.

Everton had no hand in this decision.

2) On appeal, the result of the independent disciplinary panel was reduced for being too excessive. The same grounds could/should stand here.

3) It goes against the spirit of not punishing any party more than once for the same offence.

And there will be many more that they put in the appeal.

1

10 Jun 2026 14:07:37
Hey Ed is this true that we have been hit with a £40 million pound fine for breaking PSR regarding Burnley dropping down a division, the report claims Burnley wanted £50 million but £40 million was decided on, does this open the doors for any club that went down can now sue us

1

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - im hearing that we have to pay Burnley GB but have yet to see the figures mate, i think its a disgrace myself because they went down because they were crap and for no other reason, i think we are being shafted myself..

4

10 Jun 2026 19:10:31
35m and the club are contesting it. Say legally Burnley have no chance of getting anything. Apparently it was the same three person group that sat on our points deduction, figure that out.

1

10 Jun 2026 19:17:44
Seen we owe them £26 million plus £9.1 million interest. Would love to know who they bank with, will put my savings in there. We finished 4 points above them that season, so they got relegated. And we got deducted points the following season, hence them taking us to court. Yet Chelsea got a £10 million pound fine and who knows what gonna happen with City.

4

10 Jun 2026 21:30:14
We should claim the 50m parachute payment they got for the season they were down.

4

11 Jun 2026 05:12:34
Maybe we could offer them McNeil back as compo.

0

11 Jun 2026 06:45:47
Maybe we could offer them McNeil back as compo.
Don't you mean as punishment?

0

11 Jun 2026 07:51:58
I was going to say, we should call it quits after giving them an extra £20m for Keane and whatever we paid for Dwight. Makes it even, surely.
