See Troy Parrot did well scoring 4 goals in the internationals, still think he was worth a go with us.
07 Oct 2026 20:49:52
Awful player nowhere near good enough for the Prem. Internationals is totally different.
Use our rumours form to send us everton transfer rumours.

Have Everton played any friendlies over the last few days? I read that was the plan. They are exploring strikers options, eg Charly and Brennan J?
02 Oct 2026 12:56:28
Yeah I read that as well mate, hopefully they did.
02 Oct 2026 15:52:35
brennan was playing for wales.
02 Oct 2026 18:29:51
Played Blackburn today. Drew 3-3. Charly Alcaraz, Thierno Barry, Jonathan Nsangou scored.
02 Oct 2026 21:05:41
Is it just me, or do we seem to play Blackburn in a friendly every season, and we Never win. Always like 3-3 or we lose.
03 Oct 2026 00:07:54
Friendlies don't mean much at best of times, especially once the season has started. Just an exercise to keep those not away with their respective nations up to fitness and to break the monotony of training over the 3 weeks without a proper game. The young lad took his goal well after a good run with the ball by Grealish.
28 Sep 2026 17:42:31
Read an article that Jordan Pickford is a target for Bayern Munich hope this is a load of cobblers.
28 Sep 2026 20:18:46
We'd have to sell him for less than we paid Sunderland otherwise the PL will sanction us for making money on the deal 🙄.
28 Sep 2026 20:22:49
Good one mate.
28 Sep 2026 23:12:47
Based on the interest rate we are being charged by the Burnley commission, that would put him on around £30m plus £678m so shall we just call it a round £700m for him and we should break even.
26 Sep 2026 14:17:37
Perhaps now given what is going on with City we will win our appeal against paying Burnley anything. Just so it doesn't open a can of worms for City and the Premiership.
26 Sep 2026 22:50:49
i don't think the Prem mind opening a can of worms if the only people they fall on are us. Would surprise me if it makes no difference and they got off lighter than we did.
27 Sep 2026 11:06:57
The tricky question comes if there is a large points deduction ( which we all doubt) how many clubs might make claims they were relegated or kept out of Europe due to this. If Burnley win, the ramifications for city are astronomical.
27 Sep 2026 16:55:00
Agree EFCONE, the Burnley case is going to be fascinating now. If that stands then it opens the door for teams to claim loss of prize money given where they finished in the league. Loss of earnings for missing out on a place in Europe. It could take years to sort out.
Lawyers all over the country will be rubbing their grubby little hands.
28 Sep 2026 01:27:34
BMD, I really wish I was a grubby Lawyer for a few years on the back of this one ha ha.
28 Sep 2026 12:03:18
If we don't are we going to see an Infantino interpretation of an obscure rule to allow City off with a minor penalty.
25 Sep 2026 22:43:57
It now seems spurs are ready to cut their losses and sell Richarleson for a nominal fee in January, so, should we go back for him?
25 Sep 2026 23:00:53
It's a no from me, I don't really see the fascination with him to be honest. Plus, he could have joined in the summer but decided not to.
26 Sep 2026 07:53:18
yeah, agree with Jase - i liked him when he was here, but it seems like his ability has gone down while he's ego has go enormously up - and everything which should have humbled him (being left out of the Brazil squad, not getting the money he wants anywhere) has only made him worse.
Think it would be smart to steer clear.
26 Sep 2026 08:21:42
Depends on the fee.
If it's £5-10m then it could be worth a punt. He will be rusty as hasn't played competitive football for a while but he adds something different to Barry.
26 Sep 2026 09:38:06
I'd take him for 5-10m. Where else can you get 10-15 goals a season for that?
We don't know that it is his demands that are scuppering deals. All we know is that he said he wanted to decide his future and not be forced into something again.
26 Sep 2026 11:49:14
I would've snapped him up in the summer. but his attitude over wages put me right off him.
26 Sep 2026 11:57:52
Defo and better than what we have at the moment.
26 Sep 2026 13:03:43
I am worried he would be too much of a head case for the price. I would love to see him back via my heart of yesterday, but my brain of today tells me to run the other way, and so should Moyes.
26 Sep 2026 14:07:52
It would depend on just where we are in January when looking at strikers. If we don't have anyone else lined up then it would make sense to go after him. it could possibly make the difference between qualifying for Europe or not.
27 Sep 2026 06:44:48
Get him in it's a no brainier.
29 Sep 2026 20:50:39
Did he reject us over wages, or, the other reports were spurs refused to pay him his loyalty bonus. Truth is we may never know. i'd have him back at the reported 10 mil in a heart beat. Give him a blue flair for the signing pics too.
30 Sep 2026 01:01:09
Would leave richarlison firmly in the past. Thanks for the odd moments, the desire to wind up Liverpool fans and the constant theatrics but my god the love in for him on here never fails to amaze me.
Nothing against the guy and good luck to him but i wasn't arsed in the slightest when he left. doesn't work well 2nd time around apart from maybe peanaar who was a class act and got his head down.
25 Sep 2026 20:39:29
I hear there may be a budget signing of a left wing from City available soon, I think he is from Senegal.
No he can't play right back.
25 Sep 2026 22:33:20
Personally, I hope he enjoys playing in Cheshire league division two, don't think he will be getting his champions league career he left us for.
26 Sep 2026 07:54:23
Are you talking about N'Diaye?
03 Oct 2026 06:14:10
He left to secure psr for us. No I wouldn't have him back.
25 Sep 2026 14:04:27
Hey Ed I keep reading that TFG could be about to sell Everton for between 800 million to £1 Billion, with Amanda Stavely being heavily linked with the purchase, have you heard anything mate.
{Ed001's Note - Staveley is fronting up a new consortium who are looking to buy an English team, they have been working on West Ham, but that has become difficult, so she is looking around at who else might be available. She is a dealmaker, the front of it all, rather than the person who does the buying. She will no doubt take a percentage of the shares, like she did with Newcastle, in return, but she is not the buyer.
Everton is certainly an option, but is little real potential for property development investment gains, which could be an issue, as that is often the way to improve the value of a club. You already have the stadium, but there is not much they can buy around it to create a holistic package to gain revenue from. It is brand new, so they can't even redevelop what you do have. So I would think it unlikely to be the club they go for.}
25 Sep 2026 15:37:23
Also read as HD is not up to a full events program yet, that it will effect any purchase price.
25 Sep 2026 15:20:44
Thanks for the info Ed mate.
{Ed001's Note - very welcome.}
24 Sep 2026 12:02:06
If TFG were to sell EFC for one billion, what sought of profit would they walk away with.?
I know this can only be a rough estimate, but for those that see only the amount they have put in, it may impact there uncritical view of the Frikins motives.
24 Sep 2026 16:13:36
Well the club is on a much better footing than when they bought it so would imagine anywhere between 3 to 4 hundred million.
I was wondering if they have been caught out by this two clubs in Europe issue and didn't realise it could be a problem going forward. Or maybe they are just very good businessmen who realise an opportunity when they see it.
24 Sep 2026 20:18:16
Here we go again! It's not about the amount they have put it that us 'uncritical' fans are bothered about. In previous posts, you have made out they only bought us to make a quick buck so people have replied with how much they have spent thus far.
Some of us can see how far we have come since they took over from FM. Remember him and how close we sailed to relegation and financial ruin? Did you prefer that? TFG have put in solid foundations to keep the club solvent and competitive in the short term. One of the major problems they have is the financial rules that govern every club, they are not allowed to go out and splash millions on players just to appease the fan base.
Maybe if those 'critical' fans could look at the bigger picture, then we wouldn't be having the same discussion on this forum every other day!
24 Sep 2026 22:20:49
It needed someone to put us on a good financial footing. If they now want to sell so be it. The most important issue for us is that we don't get another Moshiri type of owner. We need good business people who can improve us each season both from a financial and footballing viewpoint.
25 Sep 2026 08:09:39
The lad was just asking a simple question, it is after all a debating site.
25 Sep 2026 16:00:31
And he got a simple answer, BB. You're right, it is a debating site yet he rarely replies once people try and debate him. It's the same rinse and repeat posts, if it's not the board it is the manager. If it's not the manager it is one of the players. Last time I checked, we were undefeated thus far, the club is more financially stable than it has been for a good few years and we seem to be moving in the right direction.
There is more to be happy about than what there is to moan about yet some of these posts AB puts out there are baffling, almost as if he enjoys causing division within the forum. I never called him names and my reply was quite civil, I really don't see the problem? As you say, the site is for debating and that's all I was doing.
25 Sep 2026 16:11:15
I'm with you on that BP mate.
25 Sep 2026 19:22:48
Fair enough BP.
23 Sep 2026 23:09:21
I know it's not front and center of our concerns, but is there any likely hood of a verdict in the appeal against that grossly unfair 30mill charge, awarded to Burnley. I recall that at the time we were told it would not impact on the transfer budget, am not convinced that this payment has not had a significant effect on our problems in the window, and that a successful appeal, would help in the January window.
24 Sep 2026 20:29:03
They put that in themselves, the thing that affected our transfer budget was the new financial rules. Once the cycle of finance includes the new stadium, and the cash that it makes, we will be in a better position again.
23 Sep 2026 14:50:09
Arsenal are prepared to loan out Max Dowman, we've got to grab him asap!
23 Sep 2026 15:37:38
Why would they?
23 Sep 2026 17:36:59
What he needs is regular top flight football, Arsenal can't offer him that, we can.
23 Sep 2026 19:23:42
He a position we have cover in
Think we should be looking at a striker myself.
23 Sep 2026 20:03:48
Defo BR.
24 Sep 2026 16:03:03
So bring Dowman in and stop the progression of Dibling and Johnson? We don't need anymore wingers.
24 Sep 2026 18:23:48
Or whingers for that matter ;-) (not saying dowman is of that nature) just a lot on here lol.
24 Sep 2026 20:30:49
We don't give much game time to our own kids, I can't see us loaning a 16/17 year old from another club as they won't get a game. It will also, as already pointed out, stifle the progression of those younger players that have started tonget game time. Non starter this I think mate.
