If we lose Monday because Moyes has ignored the Team from 3-1 and gone back to Johnson etc! I hope TFG act quickly and already have someone in mind. Always supported Moyes but some of his pressers have been baffling of late.

01 Nov 2026 19:32:57
So you want him to play dibling again after being pretty much anonymous the whole game? Thursday is exactly why Moyes doesn't trust him to play! If you are referring to Hackney then I would agree completely that he has to start.

1

01 Nov 2026 19:41:26
Here we go again. When are people going to learn that players need games. And even if we wasn't the wonder player you expect him to be in one game, he was still better than Johnson.

01 Nov 2026 21:08:59
With you on That Richie Dibling won't start after his last game we have better players DM sees that.

1

01 Nov 2026 21:53:49
Johnson is not worth a start he offers nothing stick george there instead dibling is a player I think moyes has the brakes on him it's like he wants to go past players but reluctantly passes back to retain the ball so it's sideways n backwards passes he's been instructed to do.

1

01 Nov 2026 22:31:45
Careful TL talking sense doesn't go down well here.

0

02 Nov 2026 06:03:26
I wasn't saying play dibling, George on the right offers far more. What I was saying, is Moyes will play Johnson, Hackney will be on the bench, Moyes will ignore totally the 3-1 positives and go to Newcastle using negative tactics. If we had played like that at Dicky they would have beat us. Lose this and Moyes has to go.

1

02 Nov 2026 06:47:08
Hackney has to start he's a north east boy so will be determined to get a result over Newcastle being a boro lad but judging moyes interview saying he's not prem ready tells me he's dropping him to the bench our best line up would be put garner right back play Hackney in the middle with Harrison george on the right grealish on the left.

DM walking a tightrope if he doesn't play Hackney after the last game dms, massive 3 points to be had tonight.

A lot of talk of player incomings such as Rashford but none as good as Ndiaye who already looks comfortable at City, I can never understand the mentality of Everton to get get rid of our top players and usually replace them with lesser talent!
We look bang average and are doing well to be where we are in the league, but we need some fresh talent into the squad!

3

01 Nov 2026 08:00:01
Ndiaye wanted the move mate we didn't get rid, he chose to go.

01 Nov 2026 09:28:11
What's really worrying me is this insistence to do a deal with manu first zirkzee gods knows why now rashford truly baffling is it because manu are after Branthwaite and they keep chucking their crap hoping we'll get excited I swear if Branthwaite goes there he's finished the next Harry maguire and everton are weak to entertain manu forget ever winning a cup unless it's in the lower divisions.

Rashford was very good on loan at Villa and at Barce last season. He improves our team. I'd be more concerned about him and Jack out on the town.

2

01 Nov 2026 15:17:57
We have fans crying out for better players but, when we get linked with those that would undoubtedly improve the squad and first team, it's 'don't want him' or 'he's sh*te'

Is Rashford better than what we've got? Yes. Does he improve the squad? Yes, he does. I really don't understand the mentality at times. Someone please explain why Rashford shouldn't be brought in, if the rumour is to be believed.

01 Nov 2026 15:53:53
Rashford for £380000 per week is the most waste of money in the league for £ 380000 per week the player should be banging in 30 odd goals a season don't think he's got one he's manus problem leave him there.

3

01 Nov 2026 16:18:10
Had his day, and far too expensive let him stay with Man U, they deserve each other.

2

01 Nov 2026 17:50:36
Just take a look at united and he was sat in the bench, that's should tell you all you need to no, and why is he better than what we have, i don't personally think he is.

2

01 Nov 2026 18:39:25
Nor do I mate.

1

01 Nov 2026 19:53:52
Good replies, gents. I don't think, however, we will be paying over 300k per week for him, we just can't afford that so there will be a compromise on his wages. I'm assuming it will be a loan deal rather than a transfer.

I get that he is on the bench for United but he had decent loan spells at Villa and Barca. If he's good enough for them then surely he is good enough for us?

BP, why do I think he's good enough for us? The lad can play across the entire front line which would suit us as we have a very thin squad, a few injuries to our attackers and we are in a bit of trouble. At CF, nobody on here can say that he is not better than Barry. The latter may have potential but his lack of clinical finishing is, and has, cost us points so far this season. That will continue until the summer without a doubt.

Ed25, I think he also has a lot to prove and a move away from Utd, albeit on loan, could reignite something in him. He would also be close to home which could help. I just think we have to look at players like him, those who have fallen to the wayside a little and need a fresh start. He is experienced and could help our cause considerably, imo.

He definitely improves both the squad and the first team and isn't that what we all really want? Especially if it is a loan deal, we can't really lose, it is a gamble that could be worth taking.

Cheers gents, good to hear the process behind the thinking of your own opinions, whether they align with mine or not.

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - i have no problem with loans BP but i want them to be the right ones mate, i would like loanees who are trying to prove a point rather than just turning up for the money and i dont think Marcus fits into that category, i also think the money would be a problem but i could be wrong..

1

01 Nov 2026 21:59:20
So the compromise would be Branthwaite going to manu complete waste of time I wouldn't want to start weakening the defence to feed manu another one of our young star players rashford doesn't come close to the value to everton football club as Branthwaite rashy us another sancho overpaid waster.

0

01 Nov 2026 22:34:24
So apparently we are losing around a million a week so why would we entertain taking on Rashford when we're already paying the lush a fortune.

0

02 Nov 2026 07:26:46
I get that ed25, but I do think he has a lot to prove right now. Especially since he hasn't had much game time and is obviously surplus to requirements at Utd.

BMD, there isn't a chance that we would be paying his entire wage, 300k+ is well above our budget. If he came on loan then his club would subsidise part of that, as happens with a lot of loan deals across the league.

TL, that's just an assumption mate. There is nothing to say that, because we could take one of their players on loan, we will sell them JB. For a start, the lad has to want to go to them and, let's be honest, that club is in turmoil right now. They are not the attraction they once we're.

My point is that Rashford would walk into the side up top as he is miles better than Barry and the majority of us don't think the latter is good enough to lead our line. If the finances are right for us then it's better than facing the rest of the season with Barry not getting any competition for his place.

Kelvin Yeboah being linked with us any info on this guy BN mate?

01 Nov 2026 21:05:33
I don't sorry GB. I don't ever watch the MLS mate.

0

31 Oct 2026 09:59:06
Watched Sheffield united vs Wrexham on sky last night and one player I was impressed with was the Sheffield united winger Romelle Donavon only 20 a winger and Jesus he doesn't stop running, he caused so many problems for there defence, he's the type of player we should be looking at and not some one like Rashford.

4

31 Oct 2026 12:53:58
That's the problem with majority of prem players you can't motivate millionaires reason the Premier League is shocking and boring to watch.

1

30 Oct 2026 14:53:01
Links to Ait-Nouri. Now there is a signing I could get behind.

3

30 Oct 2026 16:30:20
He was class at Wolves.

2

30 Oct 2026 16:55:15
Yeah that would be a class signing.

1

30 Oct 2026 13:19:41
Everton working on Marcus Rashford loan-to-buy deal with 'wage cost shared'
Better than what we have but who knows what is the best way forward personally I would like to look for another forward even if this one could be pulled off what say my fellow Evertonians.

1

30 Oct 2026 14:08:37
Not for me mate would prefer Richy.

5

30 Oct 2026 14:29:45
Hed be awesome. Bet he wants a bigger and better club but utterly awesome.

2

30 Oct 2026 15:25:24
Defo a big no on rashford I hope we never do any business with manu a toxic club with toxic players a clown owner and over a billion pound in dept if rashfords not good enough for manu he's not good enough for everton football club.

4

30 Oct 2026 16:02:29
Absolute waste of space.

3

30 Oct 2026 08:26:49
Just wondering who fellow blues would pick out of the reported people interested in buying us. or maybe none of them suit us 🤔.

0

30 Oct 2026 09:32:04
Personally WT I would like an all British ownership with no foreign investment.

1

30 Oct 2026 14:30:11
You got a flag?

0

30 Oct 2026 18:14:19
Is that the best comment you can make FBS?

3

27 Oct 2026 17:48:38
With Carrick's departure suspended until at least after the weekend, do you think we could nip in and get Eddie Howes signature to replace Moyes by Friday? Oh sorry this is Everton and we don't act as fast.

4

27 Oct 2026 21:57:42
I would love to get rid of Moyes asap, but I have a few Newcastle supporting mates, and the criticisms they had of him are pretty similar to ours of Moyes. I think he's better, for sure, but suspect we'd find ourselves pretty frustrated within a year or so.

Plus, our owners won't do anything until we're sold.

3

27 Oct 2026 23:24:50
I have 2 friends who have worked under him, one at Bournemouth and one at Newcastle. Both of them said what an arrogant helmet he is. By all accounts (from the lad at Newcastle) those sentiments were widespread amongst most of the staff that worked there whilst he was the Boss.

As Alex said, I have seen plenty of Barcodes slate him too.

1

28 Oct 2026 11:30:18
Who is a reasonable replacement if not Moyes?

Last thing we want is to do a West Ham.

0

28 Oct 2026 16:10:29
Claudio Giráldez
Julian Schuster
Christian Ilzer.

0

28 Oct 2026 18:46:54
I'd take a punt on Davide Ancelotti. By all accounts he's very fluid in his tactics and prepared to try different things.

0

29 Oct 2026 23:25:22
Do you not think those three too much of a risk BN?

0

27 Oct 2026 10:04:10
Given our now precarious owners position do people think it is now likely we will be selling Branthwaite. I can see it happening but my worry now is that they will not reinvest any of the money raised to strengthen the squad, and we will again be looking at loans or out of contract players.

Hope I'm wrong but could see a bid of between 80-100m being enough for them to sell.

1

27 Oct 2026 10:50:28
Well would bet that Man. United will come back with a bid. The fact that we are reportedly discussing a move for Marcus Rashford worries me that Branthwaite may be part of the discussions although not sure how we could afford or justify Rashford's wages.

2

27 Oct 2026 12:56:17
Reading earlier that no funds will be made available in Jan, all good news then quicker we get a new owner the better.

3

27 Oct 2026 13:14:29
Any sales in January will be a disaster. There is no trusting our pathetic excuse for a recruitment team to replace even at a profit.
And even when we get interested party's wanting to play for us we balls that up too.
So we must not sell anyone. Not even Barry or Johnson unless players are bought first.

1

27 Oct 2026 14:11:35
I don't think recruitment is to blame more like TFG keeping hold of their purse strings mate, they have known well before we did we were going to be put up for sale.

4

27 Oct 2026 16:36:32
They have said the squad will be strengthened in January funds will be available.

0

27 Oct 2026 16:52:13
Hope so Big C but who knows what will happen mate.

2

27 Oct 2026 16:55:47
If we sign rashford then that's it we are going down let rashford stay with manu don't want to ever see him in a everton shirt overrated and we'll overpayed.

2

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - im with you TL, terrible attitude and i dont want him anywhere near my team mate..

4

27 Oct 2026 17:34:22
Like the other United players mate.

3

27 Oct 2026 08:13:25
Linked this morning with Rennes striker Esteban Lepus, article says us and Leeds interested but more likely in the summer window. Under contract till 2030. Anyone know anything about this one or the player. Will make a nice change to talk about something else
