Well done all round - manager including. Couldn’t knock anyone - good times!

How times change a couple of weeks ago when we got beaten by Newcastle, any mention that we might possibly beat either Chelsea or Arsenal was looked on by a couple as absolute madness, some now are saying on here we can beat one or the other and draw maybe even maybe 4 points well how about all 6 points just imagine the commentators, times are a changing COYB.

Wonder if Dyche has changed the story yet.

That is the side that should continue I bet though Alcaraz will be benched so Gueye can come in.

Agree0

07 Dec 2025 20:32:28
Good shout that, but I might be tempted to play Gueye in place of Garner against Chelsea to ensure Garner is available for the Arsenal game. He's just 1 booking away from a suspension.
Tough call though.

Would have thought better from Sean Dyche yesterday, griping about our finances then moaning about Tarks and then the ref was to blame, sour grapes.

{Ed025's Note - absolutely GB..

Agree7

07 Dec 2025 13:13:27
Yeah, not sure the joke about finances was well judged. Anyway, we sent him away with his tail between his legs so all good as far as I’m concerned.

Agree1

07 Dec 2025 14:19:55
Agree sour grapes.

Agree2

07 Dec 2025 14:21:14
The whiny tw@t always tried to blame others for his shortcomings. I never expected anything less from his interview.

Agree2

07 Dec 2025 16:48:35
I agree comet he done a great job keeping us up during bad times an fair play but the wining and the blame absolutely annoys me his tactics was poor during his time the ffp an finance's was always his excuse let's not forgot moshiri was awol at the time Jake obrien wasn't premier league ready according to him which now is laughable got a mate of mine whose a forest fan told him youse have a good team but he will not play the style that youse would like but look he's moved on we have certainly moved on been taking over by a chairman who actually cares an not listen to 3rd party advisors we are currently 5th an we have a cracking stadium UTFT.

Agree1

07 Dec 2025 17:50:21
I never got why he blamed points deduction, all the ownership stuff, and finances when his job was to win games and get points. Stuff everything else. But it was always his go to when summerising a defeat.

Agree0

Moyes got a far better tune out of the same squad after January.

Agree0

07 Dec 2025 22:04:49
Totally agree JB.

Young Harrison came on with 20mins to go and scored the equaliser. PNE fans already saying he's to good for that league. Hopefully see a lot more of him in a blue shirt next season.

Agree0

07 Dec 2025 12:49:46
Been saying that for ages get him on our bench.

Agree0

07 Dec 2025 13:13:47
I'd bring him back in January if there is a clause in the contract to do so mate. We're going to need some reinforcements in the midfield and that would save us some money in the market to spend on full backs and forwards.

Agree1

07 Dec 2025 13:14:33
Feels like the right decision to let him go on loan though, he’ll come back with more experience at a good level and with confidence, great addition to boost the squad when we’re in Europe next year.

Agree1

07 Dec 2025 15:33:28
I think we are going to have a cracking player in young Armstrong I think he could be special.

Agree2

07 Dec 2025 15:43:20
Sorry GB, why bring him back? Let him play a lot of football this season and develop. Or sit on the bench here? Gana, Garner, Tim, Dewsbury-hall, Alcaraz Rohl would be competing for a place with him. He has a great chance to grow as a player and a man.

Agree1

07 Dec 2025 16:36:09
I know mate not sure if we can recall him anyway.

Agree0

07 Dec 2025 12:18:53
Well two difficult games ahead of us. Chelsea away and Arsenal at home. I see no reason why we cannot at least pick up a draw at Chelsea. They lost against Leeds and drew with Bournemouth. The also have a Champions League game on Tuesday. We also will have Ndiaye and Gueye available.

Arsenal can also be beaten as Villa showed yesterday, but with a weakened side this game will be much more difficult. A draw would be a great result. So I will go for four points, a win at Chelsea and a draw at home to Arsenal. Am I sounding more like GB every day?

{Ed025's Note - absolutely Mike.. :)

07 Dec 2025 12:41:19
Hi mate yep that’s the spirit we have a good Team spirit going on at the moment and the lads are playing well, these so called top teams will not relish playing us at all, bring it on with these next two then lots of very winnable games coming up.

Agree0

07 Dec 2025 13:15:11
Have to go for it, take it to them. We won’t win every game, but we’re definitely on the right track.

Agree2

07 Dec 2025 14:46:32
Said anyone give me two draws for those games rip their arm off. Two superb sides, we are not quite there yet. May get to Arsenal game but may be better staying away, we don't have a good record watching them.

Agree0

07 Dec 2025 15:28:54
Think two points out of these games would be huge. However Chelsea playing in Europe so you never know could Nick that one. But would be happy with two from both.

Agree0

07 Dec 2025 16:37:03
Chelsea are also very poor lately.

Agree1

07 Dec 2025 19:03:42
Really.

Agree0

07 Dec 2025 19:22:00
I disagree Mike. I think it’ll be a draw at Chelsea and 3 points against Arsenal… one can dream of fortress BMD.

However, I’d take 2 points then beating Burnley, Brentford, Forest and Wolves! We could be safe by the end of Jan… imagine that….

Agree0

07 Dec 2025 12:00:32
Just watched our match on match of the day and have to congratulate the lads well done and great footy a pleasure to watch, also most of all a big Pat on the back for our manager, one or two on here give him stick but for me he’s stuck with the players and they are now playing some really good footy, a couple more players in in January and we we have a good chance of Europe, thanks Davey good footy is back at Everton and really chuffed to watch.

Agree3

07 Dec 2025 12:50:34
Agreed GB about the game and the fact is we are 5th, at least for now.
However I still can't get my head around signing Dibling and Aznou and not playing them. We still need a center-forward, a right-back and a left-bak who can play right away, not sit on the bench because they are not ready.

We need to keep up the momentum through the January transfer window. Potential recruits will see us as a good opportunity if we are high up in the league, a team on the rise.

Agree0

07 Dec 2025 13:09:58
I know mate but I read just after those two were brought in they were for the future, I’m like you I would like the players to be used immediately hope Davey will get two or three in this next window and we push on.

Agree0

07 Dec 2025 13:15:47
We need a squad, if we chopped and and changed we might not be in 5th.

Agree0

07 Dec 2025 14:48:23
Apparently £55 mill is cheap for the future or so my lad tells me.

Agree0

07 Dec 2025 15:15:19
Yes I know dms but our needs are now, we are obviously doing well but suspensions, African cup and injuries could hit us hard. Just look at the subs bench against Forest, we are a few injuries away from some serious issues. The January transfer window is a difficult period to recruit good players, I just hope that we have a few lined up.

I sill say that the 55 million spent on benchwarmers could have been spent on the real needs which have been obvious for years.

Agree0

07 Dec 2025 15:35:42
We have one of the oldest teams in the league. At some point the club had to look at changing that.

{Ed025's Note - yes but that has to be done gradually BMD, buying players and spending a large part of your budget on players who are not premiership ready is a gamble mate imo..

Agree0

07 Dec 2025 17:17:15
Well it’s only the manager saying their not ready Ed. Remember O’Brien by all accounts he wasn’t ready.

Agree0

07 Dec 2025 18:07:46
Well it’s the best start we’ve had to the league in a good while so we can probably agree the squad is being managed well.

Agree0

07 Dec 2025 19:06:04
Yeah well I would take Moyes judgement over upside down head any day.
