We, Everton have a contingency plan to put Duncan Ferguson in charge for the Merseyside derby this Wednesday should things go badly wrong for Marco Silva in the game against Leicester City.

1.) 01 Dec 2019 11:27:42
Silva will be in charge for the Derby since the Echo has reported that "Morgan Schneiderlin is fit to take part against Leicester City today. " That should make us all feel more confident shouldn't it?

2.) 01 Dec 2019 12:24:59
Duncan Ferguson is certainly not the answer for us, i think him and boa morte are part of our problems, i think we need rid of all the coaching staff.

3.) 01 Dec 2019 13:27:43
I agree imperialblue, get rid of the lot.

4.) 01 Dec 2019 16:39:42
Yes. Everton need a new regime. Sack the lot of them I say.
Silva has been left hung to dry but he won't be bothered. He will be home for Xmas. We need a manager of proven quality. Someone that has won trophy's. That rules out quite a few. Chris Wilder would be my choice. What he has done for Sheff It's is amazing!

5.) 01 Dec 2019 21:15:37
He is not the answer but interim read the posts . Silva hung to dry! Your having a laugh, bloody useless is what he is, a waffler with a cracking agent.

6.) 02 Dec 2019 09:08:01
Get rid of the lot. Get rid of our stadium. Change the team. New players all round. maybe play in red? see where I am coming from guys. I still support EFC and whilst there may be problems. we are still Everton.

06 Jan 2018 19:50:25
The Mayor of Liverpool said he will be writing to the Premier League and Football Association over the deal, glad it's not only me that think something not right here?

1.) 06 Jan 2018 21:37:17
30mil to buy last season of contract in summer half for half now seems fair price atm even if we have been screwed by all.

2.) 06 Jan 2018 21:47:33
While what Chelsea "may" have done doesn't seem fair to us they've done what's best for Chelsea and nothing illegal.

3.) 06 jan 2018 22:41:47
brian1878: you’re right.

04 Jan 2018 17:35:22
Burnley are interested in signing Everton winger Aaron Lennon.

1.) 04 Jan 2018 18:07:17
Is he ready for that step-up :)

2.) 04 Jan 2018 18:34:06
Can we have Ben Mee in exchange?

3.) 04 Jan 2018 23:21:05
My mate who is a Burnley fan says we should have gone for Mee not Keane 🤦🏻‍♂️.

13 Oct 2017 17:47:32
Bramley Moore Dock the proposed site for Everton's new stadium, proposed so not decided?
Ian Pollitt is saying "This site is the site we're talking to Everton FC about at the moment, and all I can really say at the moment is obviously discussions are ongoing" so still nothing decided? WTF, what happened to "you will have it in 3 years" said no way and got slated here, board dragging there feet again.

1.) 13 Oct 2017 19:07:01
I hear u stig but for me the team is paramount and stadium second. as a package the club needs to be attractive. so I get the importance of the stadium but right now it seems far less important to me.

2.) 14 Oct 2017 09:11:26
Yes Stig you are right the team is not the only problem, Ken&co must go.

3.) 15 Oct 2017 15:51:17
Think we have to separate the on-field and infrastructure agendas and deal with both in their own merits.
Right manager, right players, right coaching and player development is vital as we need to be challenging in top flight football and have a presence in European competitions.
Financing and building a stadium (and all that goes with it) is equally as important and the two, whilst complimentary, should be treated on their own merits.
Man City wouldn't be where they are now if they were still playing at Maine Rd.
Arsenal's off field planning has put them as one of the strongest bases for future progression in World football. (take out of that Wenger is past his sell by date)
Any decisions bases on the stadium has to look 5 to 10 years in the future.
On field crisis has to be dealt with now and that is a different mind set than running the business side of the club.

4.) 15 Oct 2017 16:41:00
Young guns, Man City were handed the golden goose in respect to their ground. It was Manchester City Council who built it and it's official name is "The Stadium of Manchester". Man City were given naming rights on a leased basis hence the name Etihad. They only lease the ground and pay around £3m per year to do so. I'm sure you will agree that's not a bad deal for any premiership side.

5.) 15 Oct 2017 17:05:35
grumpy. is that not similar to the ground deal we are hoping to get.

6.) 15 Oct 2017 18:06:21
No Dixie,

City did not pay anything for building it and own none of it. Even when they raised the seating capacity the council paid for most of it.
My understanding of our deal is that we will be paying a significant amount and will actually own part/ all of the stadium with Liverpool city council contributing to the cost, we will own the naming rights and any events held there will have to go through EFC and not the council, the reverse is true of Man City.

7.) 15 Oct 2017 18:24:00
You're right Grumpy, but it is still a 21st Century stadium fit for purpose and a draw for investment . Goodison Park isn't.
We need a new stadium, I appreciate deals have to be right and I think Moshiri is from a financing and business background that makes that the right deal.
If Liverpool Council pays any part as long as it doesn't effect the football side of the club then bring it on.
Gone are the days of clubs solely owning their home.
Our goal should be to have the best British stadium, eclipsing The Emirates, The Etihad, the new Spurs ground and even Wembley.

{Ed002's Note - I think you perhaps misunderstand what is happening with the stadium and the proposal.}

8.) 15 Oct 2017 19:19:09
I probably do Ed002,

It's an age thing, these days the things I don't misunderstand are often things I have made up.

03 Apr 2016 10:17:34
Just been reading about Man Who after Ross Barkley, if its true I would be more upset about Ross going than Lukaku, who we all love but let's be honest, Luk has only used us to get first team football and move on, Barkley gets a lot of stick like Cleverley, don't know why? I do think we could lose a lot of our stars, think RM has lost the Dressing room.

1.) 03 Apr 2016 11:08:52
If we can't pay the same wages as manutd we will always loose are best players and win nothing ever again that's the way football has gone apart from Leicester this season which is just a blip it will be the same teams every year that win trophies think it's time to leave the football behind for me can't be arsed any more new chairman or not it won't change anything.

2.) 03 Apr 2016 11:34:21
Take it with a pinch of salt it's that time of year where the press try to unsettle all our players it's like they have an agenda the difference this year is they can't use our finances as an a excuse it shows they don't like us never have never will.
I'm sure they did it in 09 before we played utd in the semi final and Chelsea in the final anything to make us lose. I ignore the lot of them to the point where I don't read the papers and will not click on any link that says our players are leaving.

3.) 03 Apr 2016 11:38:41
Hmm let me think. Last year no money didn't sell Stones. This year loads of money and still don't have to sell. In fact we should be putting bids in for their players. Rachford and DeGea would do nicely to start with.

4.) 03 Apr 2016 11:39:01
I don't know if RM has lost dressing room or not stig. he's lost the fans, or at least the majority of us. With respect to Ross, he too has a long contract with us. I'm sure 4yrs left, but unlike mirrallas, lukaku and stones he's not made single statement regarding a move. I cannot see Everton selling all of the starlets tbh. I think worse case is Rom and stones, but I don't see anything else. Ross does get too much flack in my opinion (due to his lackb of consistency) . which is why I can't see Man U going for him. they need someone with immediate and consistent impact imo and that's not Ross. yet. At the same time I think all fans who go the game need to give the lad a break. he is still maturing and getting better each season. and will do next season. A lot don't like the fact he does not challenge or defend enough but the lad almost had no career after some terrible injuries. that has to play on his mind. However, his ability to drive past players, pick a pass and score a few are attributes we will need next season if we lose rom. I wouldn't part with Ross at any cost this season. and I don't think we will. especially as rom is most likely going.

5.) 03 Apr 2016 11:45:16
Stig relax I don't think we will sell Barkley especially if stones and Rom leave club wouldn't allow it plus last summer Barkley was supposed to be of to man city that didn't happen don't believe what u read in the daily star not saying utd won't be interested in him they where interested in Baines but they didn't get him as for Bobby looseing the dressing room u only hear this when team under performing I am not a Bobby fan and I want him out of everton but it's time the players take a look at themselves and actually start performing to there potential stig u should go to Sunday mirror website and read the article on Rom it's a good read.

6.) 03 Apr 2016 11:57:28
Fully agree Skylark I been criticised for not renewing my season ticket but if all waited it might cost more but we may have seen some action.
As for the money it is obscene beyond words and going to get a lot worse .
players getting £100 of thousands a week its sick when surgeons save lives.
Brown shoes out and I will be back.

7.) 03 Apr 2016 12:18:40
Thanks for the replays mates, hope you are all right, and let's get a big win today, the players and us need it, after last week.

8.) 03 Apr 2016 13:51:06
Just read that article duke and imo its spot on. As I said the other day agents are only happy when players move its just pure greed mate.

9.) 03 Apr 2016 19:13:25
I would say with confidence Ross will stay for sure. ( He has the same handcuff we have as fans on us) The dressing room was lost a couple of months back. I fear giving responsibility of mega bucks to a board that won't sack Martinez, who has stumped the progression of its largest assets. Purely because he's that ex girlfriend you woost out of dumping because of her feelings even when your dick had already left the he relationship. I'm not sure we have the minerals to be keeping top talent anyway . Never thought we would buy a 28 mill striker or allow the only manager in our history to have that luxury destroy us. Wigan won an fa cup so ****ing what the fa cup is a blue peter badge nothing more. I don't blame Roberto one bit if I was getting cheques for hatchet work I'd be cashing them . I watched Niasse today for the five means he was allowed. His confidence is completely destroyed his manager should not have talked to the press about him until he was allowed a start. Hypocritical really considering the same gent has shown no progression himself he moon walks for **** sake. I stiff love this fat ugly Minger of a club but I'm dying a bit inside still romancing her.

10.) 03 Apr 2016 20:16:07

I am back, lol, to say I told you so, but most of you did not agree with me? but i now see you are coming round to my way of thinking, its not the last 4 managers the problem, its my old saying,

Ken&Co have to go, ok he came when we needed him but now please go, another thing I have said in the past, trouble in the dressing room, players have control now, so bulling don't work, sorry big D but you have to go, now I wish Moshri mate who gave him a gift would give us more, ok that's it you can start slating me now.

1.) 27 Jan 2019 10:51:09
Moshiri era has been an utter shambles.

2.) 27 Jan 2019 10:53:55
Like I often say stig, get rid of someone when something is wrong, but make sure your replacement is lined up and ready to go or you find yourself like we did a few seasons back when even Andy Gray turned us down as manager. so who are the replacements that you want in with dosh and knowledge that will replace Ken and co? I know of no-one myself!

3.) 27 Jan 2019 10:55:06
I do wonder what was the real reason Wayne Rooney left stig? he would have been great for the kids and players.

{Ed025's Note - yeah what a role model of a human being..

4.) 27 Jan 2019 11:06:29
Wayne Rooney role model. Thanks Lee that has brightened what is a very dismal day. 👍.

{Ed025's Note - mine too woburn..

5.) 27 Jan 2019 11:33:47
Good Lord posters who want Rooney as a role model, I ask you.

6.) 27 Jan 2019 11:35:27
not a role model? he would be great for the training? he is the last player who had Passion for our club.

{Ed025's Note - he also had a passion for grannies lee..

7.) 27 Jan 2019 11:41:46
yes Edd HE HE.

8.) 27 Jan 2019 11:49:58
I met Wayne at my local golf club last year and had photo with kids etc. He gave everyone the time.
He must of done a typo when googling? Golf (Gilf) near me 🤣🤣.

9.) 27 Jan 2019 11:55:32
The problem is bad advice, not Mr Moshri.

It's okay to disagree with my thoughts or opinions, That doesn't give you the right to deny any sense they might make, Nor does it give you a right to accuse someone of poorly expressing their beliefs just because you don't like what they are saying. Learn to recognize different opinions when you read it, even if it means overcoming your pride and opening your mind beyond what is comfortable.

1.) 20 May 2018 19:55:03
I will if you take your own advice, Stig. I just don't see the logic in attacking BK like some do. I remember the PJ saga as it played out so, despite your refusal to admit it, BK saved us from the inevitable plummet that we were heading for. He has given us a new man to lead us forwards and will soon step down, why keep beating the 'I hate BK drum'?
If there has been some posters that have had a personal dig at you then that is below the belt but your original post was always going to bring about an adverse reaction. Can't really moan if you was wound up by the very people you was trying to wind up!

2.) 20 May 2018 20:57:06
i don't think anyone was personal everyone just stated in there opinion your wrong. that's just our opinion but as i stated our opinions don't count if they don't follow certain agendas.

3.) 20 May 2018 21:56:46
I can understand the feelings from stig. It can feel personal when people swarm in to dismantle your opinions and while nobody was personal they are strong opinions. Plus I personally think the anti Kenwright thing has been an unnecessary toxic vent and an u just one.

I was personally disagreeing to the views in general and not just you. This is how things come across sometimes mate on certain issues and we all do it especially on something that is left or right like this. Try not to tale it personally mate its the anti-BK movement people are opposing not just your individual beliefs. But like I said I can feel sensitive when various people chop down something I am saying but it will happen.

4.) 20 May 2018 23:29:49
I’d like to apologise to you Stig if my comment came across as belittling/ degrading yours. I’ve read it again and believe it could have been written with more thought.

The point I intended to make was: where does slating Bill get any of us? It feels, to me, like you have a personal grudge against him. If he has wronged you in some way then I hope you will be able to eventually move on and focus on some of the interesting stuff you have discussed in the past.

To many posters (and readers who don’t post) , Bill is seen as a integral part to our existence in the Premier League. I agree it is time for him to move on but the anti-Bill sentiment doesn’t seem necessary; especially when it feels like you’re attacking the guy.

Stating Everton was saved from Bill is a little far fetched in my eyes. If we had ended up like Leeds, Blackburn, Portsmouth or Sunderland then I could emphasise with your point but sadly, I can’t at present.

Maybe this is a classic case of needing to agree to disagree on the matter.

5.) 21 May 2018 02:51:42
The simple fact is Stig is that Kenwright will be remembered favourably in Everton history, you and KEIOC will not even be remembered.

It was you that wanted to rake up old coals. Seems like they were too hot for you.

6.) 21 May 2018 11:23:44
Hey stig. I've known you on here for a long time now and always enjoyed your posts. Especially last season on the match day banter during the games. You are a great laugh.

I don't agree with your views on BK but I still respect them. They are your views and yours to own. I believe you should be free to air them and also believe you don't deserve any stick for them. Even though I don't agree with them.

Its obvious to me you are a genuine Everton supporter and want what is best for the club. Just thought I'd show you some support stig on here stig. Sometimes the vigilantly can get out of hand on here.

19 May 2018 11:31:50
It is often incorrectly said that 'Kenwright saved us from Johnson'. What is definitely true is that KEIOC saved Everton from Kenwright. We highlighted the lies put the pressure on in the public inquiry to stop it happening. We saved Everton from Kenwright.

{Ed025's Note - the thing is stig is that people like yourself and the BU (bullies unlimited) are trying to save people who dont want to be saved, they are extremists who try to force their ideals on fans to fulfill their own agenda, i honestly cant see what bill kenwright has done thats so wrong, for me he has been the rock that the club needed when it was in big trouble and i for 1 am very grateful for all that this good man has brought to this great club, but i dont intend to try and convince others to think the same way as me as thats down to personal choice mate..

1.) 20 May 2018 07:42:18
Ed is right Stig. You are coming across like a troll.

Don't know what you have against the man; he is as much a supporter as you but has invested far more money and time into the club.

If it turns out you have sunken millions into the club and most of your life than I take it all back. Otherwise, it may be time to give him credit where credit is due.

2.) 20 May 2018 08:09:49
oh stig get a grip kid, the man has done everything in his power to better everton, has he made mistakes along the way? probably but every decision he has made he has had evertons best interests at heart never personal gain. people like the blue union and keioc are an embarrassment to the club with there bile and hatred of a man who bleeds blue and would die for the club. that's my opinion but u won't agree as anyone whos opinion doesn't match the BU or KEIOC agenda isn't valid is it mate yous no best.

3.) 20 May 2018 09:26:20
Bill has been our Savior over the years and to cap it off he finds Mr Moshiri and we all know what a Gem he is, I would hope that when our new stadium is built Bill will at least get a stand named after him, he. Certainly deserves that, I would like to say a massive thank you to him for all he has done for Everton and if he goes wish him well.

4.) 20 May 2018 09:32:35
More realistically Mr Kenwright has this Club in his soul so much so that recently (last few years) an otherwise astute business man actually let his heart rule his head. To be honest we the fans are partly responsible for that. We have become impatient and some to be fair downright obnoxious, rather like the kid who takes his ball home. My take on Mr Kenwright is that we owe him a huge debt for his contribution (and yes he did save us from Johnson) , we should say thankyou very much and ask him to gracefully retire to an Everton Honourary non-executive position and enjoy the ride that seems to be coming with the new partnership of Moshri/ Usmanov/ Brands.

5.) 20 May 2018 09:48:14
The writing is on the wall Stig. Read all the comments. Either we are all wrong in our judgement of the guy or perhaps you are? I heard some stories in the past from Kenwright haters who were just so off the mark. Blue Bill would have chosen an easier less hassle way of "making a few bob" than running EFC. He devotes his life to us in the same way any other Evertonian understands. Speak to the guy about games he has been to. Can you honestly think that as a businessman he could talk with the same passion as fellow Evertonians? Can you imagine the chairman of any other organisation not putting his foot in his mouth trying toconvince us Evertonians (probably the most sceptical bunch of supporters around) . Mate as the other posts suggest. you have misjudged the situation. He is as Evertonian as you. if not more so!

6.) 20 May 2018 10:06:09
My take is that Everton have a lot to thank Bill Kenwright for. He is a true Evertonian who has put the club first every time. Sure, with 50/ 50 hindsight vision he might have made a few mistakes along the way but without him we might have been another Sunderland, Birmingham or Notts Forest.

Stop just seeing what you think is the bad and look at where we are and what we could have been. He doesn't deserve all the bad mouthing.

7.) 20 May 2018 10:36:16
We are lucky to have had OUR chairman. The club jas been in extremely difficult positions yet we have always managed to pull through. We have endured a painful season bit this is footbal and we are in great position looking at the greater picture. Kenright has steered us through. I think the compleely negative views on Kenright is a little bit of a disgrace to be honest :/.

8.) 20 May 2018 12:08:47
Bill Kenwright has done everything in his power since the Johnson era to bring stability to our club and to find the right man to take over. It's taken time yo achieve that which has sometimes led to frustration for some supporters, but he stuck to his guns and now it appears to be paying off. He could have sold his shares many times over but it never felt the right thing for Everton. That says it all ss far as I'm concerned.

9.) 20 May 2018 13:27:18
I don't thank Bill for anything he has done. It's not enough.

I wonder how many on here would sacrifice their home, business and health the way he has for our club. We can't question anything he has done because we have absolutely no idea the choices or options he made or had.

What evidence we do have is we are still in the EPL when others had more money to spend and fell. He then got us the right man to take over.

To think he has a motive other than what's best for the club is pure paranoia.

He's too loyal sometimes for my liking especially with Moyes. Plus he's too emotional as well at times when an iron fist is needed. However, the way our club has developed a true blue beating heart is all downto him and the people he brought in.

As for BU and KEIOC. They spoke for the minority and played on the misinformed. Then add the underhand tactics used means they get little respect from me.

It's time now though for Bill to get back just enjoying Everton again. He might start getting some slack and eventually respect from all.

10.) 20 May 2018 16:29:42
Totally agree with ed25 and the other posts here. Stig, you need to move away from the cult-like groups mentioned, they do not represent me as an Evertonian, they are a group of misguided fools who seem intent on destroying our club despite proclaiming that they have its best interests at heart.

Believe me, if BK had not managed to oust PJ 20+ years ago then we would have fallen out of the premier league well before now. He could have given you your wish and sold up years ago when groups like that who purchased Blackburn were sniffing around. Is that what you and them groups wanted? The likes of the Venkies haven't done much good for that particular club have they? And, if reports are to be believed, they wanted to buy us before settling on Rovers.

Bill might have his faults, like the rest of us he is only human, but he has steered the Goodison ship and kept it on course for the premier league for many, many years. In the very least you and those who criticise, for the sake of criticising, should acknowledge that BK has brought in a man to take over that will give the club a chance to thrive. You lot sound like ungrateful, spoilt kids but you can't change history. Bill Kenwright saved this club from the depths of lower league football. It's about time that you anti BK brigade realise as much.

11.) 20 May 2018 16:55:42
I think stig is just a secret red looking to cause arguements in here.

{Ed025's Note - no mate hes deffo a blue, hes a long time poster who i agree with most of the time....but not on this one..

12.) 20 May 2018 18:29:58
anomblue2 he's definitely a blue he's always on here just let himself down with this post he's usually a top poster who speaks sense but on this one am sorry he is way off the mark.

13.) 20 May 2018 18:44:06
Remember lads we all have our own Opinion?

Opinions are not only important in igniting change, but also they help in defining the kind of person you are. Having an opinion shows passion, determination, and knowledge. It shows that you are capable of taking a stand and you are willing to defend something you believe in.

14.) 21 May 2018 12:41:34
bill has been great for us, sure we havnt been where we would love to be, but as said above look where we could have been, he's took his time and invested a good part of his life trying to get us as high as possible and slowly looking like he's stepping away t make room for mr moshiri who he found and has confidence in that he can take us forward, deserves plaudits not posts like this.

I don't think Moshiri is bad for the club, but expected more?, ok he became are new owner, it was a gift off a friend? new players money? most of that came from players we sold, we where getting new stadium long before he came, Albert dock, we could and should be there now, but Ken pulled out according to Joe Anderson, then Kirby, glad we did not get that, then Walton park, Joe said we would be in new one in 3 years, well over that, but new Stadium is not are priority now, we need to sort our mess out first.
