I can't see this, they enquired last season before the January window and if he had intentions to leave I don't feel he would've extended his contract.
And we need to start keeping hold of players and building, he is part of what could be an amazing spine to our team.

Reeks of a 'West Ham striker signing' to me - big name, massive ego, apparently demanding insane wages, average record considering his team, and largely very unpopular with his own fans.

This guy has been supposedly available for a few years, and no one has taken him, and the main suitors at the moment are in Turkey.



No doubt he's better than B&B, but I reckon he gets 7 goals max and ends up being loaned out second season. I'd rather we look elsewhere.

I feel he is a more developed version of Tyrique George and I like George. High energy, good with both feet, and can operate on either flank. Does prefer the left, cutting in on his right, which is a stronger foot.
He is a very direct player, likes to run at defenders, which is a little different to the likes of Grealish, who likes to pull defenders out of position and control the tempo, but Rowe definitely gives you that counter attacking option with pace and directness.


Rowe is more about high shot volumes, so that would definitely be a bonus.
Loves to get in the box, reminds me a bit of Richarlison, looking to get on crosses coming in from the opposite flank, and we are always crying out for someone getting in the box!
Will be costly, around EUR40m according to some reports, which makes him sound like an Ndiaye replacement to me.

If the rumoured fee is 30+ million, there are much better options to go after for me, mate.

Was literally fired from Marseille for his fight with Rabiot - there's certainly enough historic evidence to suggest Rabiot was likely the more guilty of the two, but the description of the incident doesn't paint Rowe in a good light. Another one I'd steer clear of.

I think the WC has increased Spence's value by quite a bit, even though he was dreadful for most of last season. I am not sure about him, good going forward, but full of mistakes. I would love him to come here and for it to work out, but it needs to be value for money.

Honestly I've not known much about him, but he had a storming WC and that's done one thing, raise his profile and raise his own ambition. He will and should score himself a relevant CL side now. Sadly, a few weeks ago, when most were openly mocking him, and claiming he's not good enough for us, we have literally witnessed a player not good enough, become a star. He looked like the player we were crying out for.

But WC form is commonly followed by mediocrity. Not sure we were ever an option either way, so good luck to the guy. We need to sign the Spence pre signing for Spurs and getting into the national team. If we don't get a RB and a striker this summer (3rd summer on the trot) , we are in big trouble. I have faith but time's a ticking.

We actually looked to sign Spence back in the summer of 2022 after his season on loan at Forest alongside Garner as both had enjoyed good seasons on loan there but Spurs signed him and we were still taking our time looking.
He's a good player but his performances at the World Cup may have pushed him out of our reach financially.

He's had a mixed bag at the World Cup, a few good games and some not so good. If his price has gone up, then we should move on to other targets, as someone has already pointed out we shouldn't be overpaying on the basis of a few good games in the tournament.
