Reading that Dibling could be sold for £35 million, which was what we paid apparently and replaced with a player that can actually get into the Team.

3

05 Aug 2026 17:36:49
If we get our money back on him it would be the best piece of business we could ever do! Well, aside from replacing all of our useless scouts who literally only care about if the player has ever played well against Liverpool!

1

05 Aug 2026 18:45:50
I think it would be absolutely ridiculous to get rid of him. The lad was barely given a minute, and Moyes seemed to exclusively handle him in the way which would damage his confidence the most.

There are plenty of players I would cash in on, but he already proved he is able to play at this level with Southampton.

Let's just give him time.

Plus, we all know that even if we do recoup the money, we'll just go for Jacob Murphy or some other 32 year old past in winger to replace him.

4

05 Aug 2026 19:01:18
Agree to disagree, Alex. If we can recoup our fee, I'd bite their hand off and buy someone who will actually start games.

0

05 Aug 2026 19:41:44
I'm with you on that, JB. The powers that be don't reckon he's ready for the Premiership. We get £35 million for him. I'm sure we can find a decent striker.

1

05 Aug 2026 20:02:39
35 million to where exactly? Can't see who would pay for that

0

05 Aug 2026 20:11:05
Well, not sure we would get anywhere near 35M for him, and even if we did, you can't get a top player for that amount. I would hope that we would keep him for another season, give him more playing time, preferably not on the wing but in the middle, and assess him then.

3

05 Aug 2026 20:29:45
Lad has not been given a sniff. I have said it time and time again - 349 minutes of football and most of it without the likes of JB, Gueye, Grealish, KDH & Ndiaye, so basically every decent player we have.

Saw him getting praise in training recently and was seen to be putting some quality balls into the box.

Stupid if we get rid of him. The lad has just turned 20. Any other manager would have handled him better than Moyes.

We will sell him and then people will be crying in a year or two, asking why we sell our young talent.

3

05 Aug 2026 20:38:09
Minds of "supporters" baffle me at times. Give the young man a bit of time for fecks sake. And, just where do you think you are going to get a top striker for 35m? Oh, I know, let's get someone nobody has ever heard of that works.

2

05 Aug 2026 20:41:45
There's a rumour he's going to Rangers on loan for a year. Would suit both parties, as Rangers need a right winger and Dibling needs to be playing in a competitive environment, which the SPL is, and he would get European games as well.

1

05 Aug 2026 21:17:07
Er, there isn't a "rumour" he's going to Rangers. Playing teams like Kilmarnock won't improve his progress in the slightest.

2

05 Aug 2026 21:25:44
Probably get Richy back for less than 35 million.

0

05 Aug 2026 14:45:32
Anyone hear Nicholas Jackson Chelsea to us?

0

05 Aug 2026 15:55:13
Haven't seen anything Blue, but would take him in a heartbeat, mate.

0

05 Aug 2026 17:31:53
Don't think he is significantly better in front of goal than what we've got, but he is better, I guess. And a better all round player.

0

05 Aug 2026 17:34:49
I saw a clip of Rob Ernshaw saying it, BN.

0

05 Aug 2026 17:49:44
Seems like a nice fella, Blue. Hopefully he is an honest one too, although I am not sure how he would be privy to that info. Can't recall him having any links to us or Chelsea.

0

05 Aug 2026 18:06:21
No chance of him joining Everton.

0

05 Aug 2026 18:44:06
Why not.

Another season playing in the biggest league in the World and the chance to put himself in the shop window.

He isn't going to the likes of Arsenal, City, Liverpool or United. De Zerbi doesn't want him.

Villa may not be able to get him due to the Rogers sale. That doesn't leave many other options.

Think stating there is no chance is overblown. He could easily come in on a loan for the season.

0

05 Aug 2026 19:28:58
Let's see what happens, I am fully aware of his qualities, I would love Everton to get him but I would say there is more chance "plaiting fog", however, I genuinely hope I am proven to be wrong.

0

05 Aug 2026 08:50:27
Suprise, Roma are now after Molina.

2

05 Aug 2026 11:26:56
Why are we haggling over the 7m for Norgaard, this club is laughable, get it done and get this rb in.

1

05 Aug 2026 14:29:14
Pretty sure it is done, who said we're haggling over the £7m price tag?

1

05 Aug 2026 15:02:17
There are some articles that say his medical is all done, but still some financial things to sort out between Everton and Arsenal, we are probably trying to get another £50 off.

0

05 Aug 2026 15:17:23
I've read that the payment structure needs to be sorted but part 2 of his medical today.

It will be finalised in due time.

1

05 Aug 2026 15:20:40
Or it's complete BS, Blu Dev. Different articles say different things. We will know once the club announces him joining, mate. But I'd take what you read on the Internet with a pinch of salt. It's all click bait.

1

05 Aug 2026 15:31:48
I'm pretty sure it's all under control. Just seems typical Everton that we drag things out. He should be out in Germany training with his new team mates by now.

0

04 Aug 2026 18:54:24
Norgaard completes medical.

6

04 Aug 2026 19:23:29
Looking forward to seeing him play and in what position Moyes utilizes him.

1

04 Aug 2026 19:38:54
Experienced player, just what we need.

1

04 Aug 2026 19:58:16
Just hoping DM uses both old heads and new heads could be the makings of a decent Team Ed mate

3

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - not too old though GB, im hoping Tarks and Keane are only bit part players this season mate..

3

04 Aug 2026 20:08:58
That's good news. He beat the beep test!

He'll go straight in where Gana played.

Now that RB and a striker..

..and maybe a winger!

0

04 Aug 2026 20:11:48
Agree with that. Tarks was off in several games, seems to have lost his mojo, mate.

2

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - yeah he should have a tag on him now GB, "only use in emergency" mate.. :)

1

04 Aug 2026 20:12:18
That would be good mate.

0

04 Aug 2026 22:27:45
I think Tarks was playing catch up since missing preseason last year, and he never really got going. I expect him to be more of his usual self this year, although he does need phasing out, along with Keane, so we can get a younger pairing settled together at CB.

0

05 Aug 2026 08:38:46
He was a standout player for Brentford. When they played against us, our midfielders couldn't get near him. He was too good, a tremendous signing. He will galvanise the team around him.

1

05 Aug 2026 12:29:56
I read an article from Thomas Frank and he said that Norgard is one of the best number 6's in the Prem. He is one of the best at sensing danger, and is so composed on the ball, and he can quickly move you up the pitch with a single pass, so does sound to me like Gana Esk but with better vision and skill.

A snip at 7 mill, which will also allow Jimmy more freedom in the attacking areas, etc.

1

04 Aug 2026 13:12:07
Ridle Baku is the latest RB to be linked to us now. Surely this means we get one this window now at least.

3

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - lets hope so SLP and we can get Jake alongside Jarrad in the middle mate..

2

04 Aug 2026 14:24:32
Wonder if it's like the number 10 scenario and we sign 3 in one window.

0

04 Aug 2026 15:10:42
Ed, I'm totally with you on that. I'm pretty sure almost every Evertonian would agree that us with an actual right back and O'Brien and branthwaite as the cb's is our best defense. For the life of me can't understand how Moyes doesn't see that. I bet he still plays tark or Keane instead of these two together.

2

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - lets hope not John...barring injuries of course mate..

2

04 Aug 2026 18:18:34
We'd be well covered at CB, LB, LW, RW and CM if no one leaves and we sign Grealish.

Maybe we are buying two RBs!

That just leaves Strikers.

1

04 Aug 2026 18:32:01
Have you forgotten about Mykolenko? (Easy to do, I know.) Needs replacing and should be nowhere near the starting 11 in my opinion.

3

04 Aug 2026 18:52:20
The above post from Shropshire should have infinite likes on it. Couldn't agree more.

Still can't believe he is with us.

Nothing against the lad, from a personal perspective, but he is one of the worst LB's in the league.

1

04 Aug 2026 19:11:14
Is Aznou ready? I haven't seen him much since Moyes does not play him, but whenever I have, he seemed better than Mykolenko!

1

04 Aug 2026 19:52:53
He should be back up to Aznou. At least Aznou gives us something going forward. He just has to recruit how to defend.

2

04 Aug 2026 21:29:32
Play Tarks and Keane in the early rounds of cup games, give Jb and Job a rest, keep them injury free and fresh.

0

04 Aug 2026 22:34:34
I like Ridle Baku, last year of contract so could be good value.
Pacey fullback, comfortable at rb, rwb and even rw.
Pretty good passer, solid defensively.

04 Aug 2026 11:49:45
Everton have opened talks to sign Atletico Madrid's Nahuel Molina, according to reports in Italy, with the club understood to have moved ahead of Juventus in the race for the Argentina international.

3

04 Aug 2026 13:02:00
Repeat this one several times if there's a chance it'll happen!

0

04 Aug 2026 12:46:45
I think it's a timing issue Ed and people need to refresh to make sure they've got the latest version of the pages

1

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - its pretty annoying to be honest mate..

I've been guilty of this a couple of times, post something, then scroll down for ages, passing several posts and replies, to find a near identical post.

Morning blues watched part of the celtic game and like others was surprised to see Johnson play the whole game then saw him waving at the end suggested he was leaving then one of the co comentater said he would leave after there champions league qualifier which the secone leg finishes august 18 so no time for him to get use to a system or players enviromen excetra before palace on the 22nd also yilmaz played a full game for galatasary on saturday its all gone quite on him any news on him from any of the eds

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - not at the moment Alan..

0

04 Aug 2026 11:01:00
If only we had a system of play he had to get used to!

4

04 Aug 2026 11:09:42
It's looking likely that Job will be out starting RB against Palace. How has this been allowed to happen. It's bonkers. How many windows?

4

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - too many Swinners..

2

04 Aug 2026 11:19:56
Some of these issues are beyond the club's control, we can only work within the systems.
I get frustrated when players that would improve us move to other Prem teams. The reality is, we could well have been in for them, but European football and being in
London seem to trump our current position. Our job is to sign the best players available to us.

It's also not unusual for clubs to hang on to players until they've gone through European qualifiers, then they sell and their budget improves for the season ahead.
From a buyer's point of view, we also save millions on player wages by waiting until the end of the window. More to come in, and we can ignore some of the names being banded about.

1

04 Aug 2026 12:42:26
Sorry, don't buy this European bull. Players go to whoever offers them the best deal.

3

https://www.evertonrumours.co.uk/uploads/thumb_ed025-1241569729.png avatar{Ed025's Note - absolutely..

04 Aug 2026 12:53:03
Good post, JB.

0

04 Aug 2026 13:18:33
Most of these so called professional footballers can't play 1 game a week, so I agree the European thing is a load of crap. Most want to be top earners and sitting on the bench, no fight in this generation of players, it's getting worse each year.

0

05 Aug 2026 15:25:47
You can discount wanting European football all you like, but most players, especially foreign players, do want to be playing in those competitions. We lost out on a few last season because of it.

London is always a factor too. Some players don't want to play north of the Watford gap.

We can't be paying over the odds on wages just to get a player to sign. We've been down that road before.

0

04 Aug 2026 10:14:40
From Chris Sutton. Well, he can f*** right off, loser.
Absolutely loved seeing [Cameron] Carter-Vickers back.. he's been missed. The club should not sell Alistair Johnston unless it's silly money..

04 Aug 2026 09:32:51
Another rumour, folks
FootballEverton considering RB Leipzig right-back Ridle Baku.

1

04 Aug 2026 10:02:12
Looks quick.

0

04 Aug 2026 09:20:12
Baku from Leipzig, another RB we are supposed to be looking at.
